Scribbles! 3/18- 3/24

Saturday 3/ 18

My sister came over with her baby for a little bit! I watched some of Moana before she came over, so that was a lot of fun! I love that movie. I love seeing my sister and her baby also... if you haven't guessed from everything I've been posting lately. My mom and dad made Corned Beef and Cabbage... which I don't like so I ate leftovers... it was good.

Sunday 3/19

We went up to see my sister and the baby! She was smiling and she's starting to coo a little bit. She was just so cute and awake and alert. It was a lot of fun. She's a little more alert every time we see her, it's adorable. She's starting to mimic now too, so if you smile at her, she'll smile back at you. So sweet.

Monday 3/20

We went up to see my sister again. I read some Amelia Bedelia  to the baby... one of my favorites as a kid! If you've never read Amelia Bedelia, she's a maid that takes things very literally. Like if you ask her to Steak the Beans in your garden, she'll cut up a steak and put them on the beans. It's really funny. My mom and I were really tired that night though lol.

Tuesday 3/21
We got to Babysit the baby at our house today! She's so cute, but she does not like it when someone doesn't hold her or when you stop moving. My mom and I learned that yesterday... if you start moving with her she'll go to sleep... but if you get tired and stop moving... she'll wake right up and start fussing.

Wednesday 3/22
Today we didn't see the baby. My mom had to go somewhere... so I just stayed home and I think I watched The Most Popular Girls in School all day... such a funny show. I think I actually finished it all today too and I liked it a lot. I'm excited that they will be having another season soon... highly recommend checking it out for now.

Thursday 3/23
We brought lunch to my sister and then watched the baby... who was being kind of fussy... but I got her to smile a bit and she was really good then! I had a big lunch with my mom... I got a souvlaki pita pocket from a Greek Diner and I really liked it... so I had a bagel for dinner with coffee and a little bit of baily's in there. And I'm planning my friends Bachelorette party... which I won't talk about too much because idk if she reads this or not! I ordered jeans too... so that's going to be fun.

Friday 3/24
And today I just stayed at home and blogged and worked on my instagram a little bit. We're going out for dinner later... I'm writing  this on Friday... so yeah... Paul Ryan just came on the tv saying "It's hard to do big things" which is kind of hilarious when you take it out of context like that. He's just like "Yeah. Adulting is hard."

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
