Scribbles About Food: Pure Leaf Pomegranate Iced Tea and Mint Iced Tea

I'm a fan of Iced Tea, so when I heard that Pure Leaf had 2 new flavors, I was pretty excited! Pomegranate Juice is something that I really like and I really like mint drinks and I've been liking Eucalyptus Spearmint smells lately... so I thought this would be good!

This is really tasty! It's very flavorful, it tastes like Iced Tea obviously... but it's also like actually eating a pomegranate. It's got the flavor down PERFECTLY! It was fantastic!

Pure Leaf isn't my favorite brand of iced tea. They have a lot of flavors... but the only ones I really like are the Raspberry and Peach. The plain sweet iced tea isn't bad... the Green Tea is pretty terrible from them, the Lemon is pretty bad too. If you know Long Island Iced Tea... those are much more flavorful than Pure Leaf... but I would have tp say that this pomegranate one definitely compares to the Long Island Iced Tea brand (btw the Long Island Iced Tea is just the name of the brand. It's not alcoholic. You can buy it at grocery stores in New Jersey... you can't buy alcohol in those. Lol.

And the mint is really interesting too. I've never had mint tea before... it makes sense to me though even though I've never really heard of it. It's kind of unique for a brand like Pure Leaf to have a mint tea.

The mint flavor is very subtle and very refreshing in the Iced Tea. It's kind of a relaxing thing to drink... I think it'll be great in the summer by the pool... it's just so refreshing. If you like Mojitos but you don't drink all that often- I think you would like this a lot because I was really craving a mojito a few days ago and this satisfied my craving for that... soooo good!

These flavors are both definitely the best from Pure Leaf... they're really great and just sooo nice! Good for spring and summer... even though today is a blizzard lol. They're just really flavorful and good. Definitely recommend picking these up.

Byee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
