Scribbles About Life: 10.17.16

My first day as a 25 year old... here's what happened!

I woke up super early... I did makeup that was a little weird, different than what I usually do... but still nice and yeah. It's Ravenclaw inspired and it will be on a blog coming soon.

Then my mom and I went to Costco. She needed to return something and we looked around a little bit. It was fun.

But then we needed coffee... so we went to Starbucks! Which happens to be inside of a Target... so we looked at Target! I got Crayola Markers and the book Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarity... Idk what its about but its for my book club.

And we went to AC Moore to look at halloween decorations and stuff and then CVS because that's always fun.

We were going to go to a Greek place that we liked... but its closed apparently, which is really sad... so we went to a different Greek Place and that was good too.

Then we went to my mom's friends house and talked a little bit.

Then I went home and colored. I got a few new coloring books for my birthday and the one I was currently working on was Gullivers New Travels. Its not based on the book Gulliver's Travels per se... its by James Gulliver Hancock and it shows a town and it looks like there's kind of a story to go with it... so I've been working on that today...

And yeah. That is about it. Have a good night!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
