Weekly Wrap Up: Birthday Edition! 10.16.16

Favorites
This American Horror Story Podcast- I really like American Horror Story... but I'm also a pretty big fan of this podcast for it. I've been really into it right now in particular... so this podcast has kind of helped me with my addiction. I like it a lot!

The Visit- I've been watching a lot of Halloween movies... this one was my favorite so far I think. I'll have a little scribbles about movies about it in a little bit... but I really really liked it! It was mostly a funny movie... but the characters were well developed and it was just a really scary end that I was really surprised by! Its really a good movie.

This is Us- I really like where this show is going. Its only on the third episode... but its just been really really good and I'm excited to continue watching it. There are lots of twists in all the story lines and every episode has sort of a twist... and there are lots of characters but they're really great characters and its interesting to see how they all connect! I would recommend watching this!

Life Scribbles
-Monday my mom and I got Pork Roll and Cheese at a diner... it was really yummy.
-Tuesday I went grocery shopping... and ate pizza and went to Ulta also... so that was fun.
-Wednesday I went back to Ulta because I didn't get the points for my order... so I needed to get those and that was frustrating... lol.
- Thursday grocery shopping again. Didn't go to Ulta this time. Went out to dinner later.
- Friday I went to TGI Fridays and did some birthday shopping! American Eagle and Sephora!
- Saturday I went to Target and to a Haunted House nearby... which I'll talk about in a blog soon!

TV Highlights
Monday I watched The Big Bang Theory... some of Kevin Can Wait and 2 Broke Girls... which has gotten really bad now... It was always kind of a fun show to have on in the background... but now its just... bad. The jokes are a little flat, there is just a lot going on... and its just not my thing anymore.

And I feel bad saying that because the writers and actors on 2 Broke Girls are all really funny and amazing... I just think somethings gone wrong and they've jumped the shark.

Tuesday was Scream Queens and This is Us... which I love!

Wednesday was the ABC shows and AHS... which I love too! I really liked Speechless this week... I think this is getting so great!

Thursday The Good Place and How To Get Away With Murder... both really good this week! I love How To Get Away With Murder!

Friday... nothing good was on.

Ohhh and during the show where the 2 most important powerful people in the US Yell at each other and they show it on every channel, my mom and I watched SNL with Lin Manuel Miranda... who is the best!

Noteworthy Snacks
Delicious Orchards Apple Cider and Cider Donuts.

News and World Events
Its all terrible.

Thoughts
If you're a woman vote! People are saying repeal the 19th... it isn't funny because it it is an actual fear of mine that that will happen!

If you're a man... I think we should take away your right to vote... lol. Jk. But see how ridiculous that is? Everyone has a right to vote! So do it!

Clickables
I'm bad with clickables!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
