Falling For Fall Tag

So I saw this tag here. I just googled fall tags and this was my favorite that came up... so yeah!

1. Apple Cider or Hot Chocolate?

Hmmm tough one... I think Apple Cider just because thats what I associate more with fall. Hot Chocolate I'll have Winter... or any time of year really but Apple Cider is the Fall Time Treat. And if you're from the Central Jersey area... you know Delicious Orchards Cider is where its at! That is also something you can get year round... but that is where its at!

2. Thanksgiving or Halloween?

Definitely DEFINITELY Halloween. I'm a spooky person. My dream man would probably be either Fox Mulder or Dean Winchester. I'm born in October... I love Candy and I love dressing up... and lately I'm convinced I'm a werewolf.

3. Do you call this season Autumn or Fall?

I usually say fall... but I love the word Autumn and the name Autumn. That's something I would consider naming a daughter!

4. Favorite Halloween Costume?

I have a lot... I think I'm going to do a whole post about Halloween Costumes. I loved when I dressed up as a minion. One year I was Dead Paris Hilton and that was DAYS before her sex tape was released so that was cool. I was Donald Trump one year before he went crazy... but my all time favorite is probably my Pirate costume that I got from the gift shop on the Pirates of The Carribean Ride at Disney World. That was a good one.

5. Favorite Show in the Fall?

... I have a lot. American Horror Story, Scream Queens, How To Get Away With Murder... and this show JUST started... but I have a feeling its going to be my favorite favorite for a long time... The Good Place. I'm super excited about The Good Place.

Also HTGAWM was bad last year... this year it looks really good!

And Crazy Ex Girlfriend. I actually have a phone reminder for that...

6. Favorite Halloween Candy?

There's a lot here too cause I have a sweet tooth.

You can't go wrong with candy corn. The PSL m&ms are really good. I personally love the orange Kit Kat bars because those are white chocolate on the outside, chocolate on the inside and that is really special...

And I love small versions of things they don't normally sell in small versions. Butterfinger Cups, watermelon sour patch kids.

And the value packs of Rice Krispy treats... All amazing!

7. Trick Or Treat?

Illusions, Michael! A trick is something a ... never mind- Treat! Did you not just see all the candy I had listed there?

8. Carve a pumpkin or Eat Pumpkin Pie?

Depends on the pie?As much as I love pumpkin everything... not a big fan of pumpkin pie! Pie isn't my favorite desert in general... and the texture of pumpkin is weird to me. My cousin, who is a professional chef, made really good pumpkin pie last year actually... so yeah I guess Pumpkin Pie wins after all. Lol.

The more I thought about it the more I wanted it.

9. Do you shop on Black Friday?

I did a long time ago I'd wake up early... once upon a time I worked it. Working it didn't deter me from Shopping on Black Friday... I just don't always think the deals are worth the crowds. I'm not a doorbuster person. This tag I think was created before Thanksgiving really turned into Black Friday... but yeah... The older and broker I get the more likely I am to just wait for cyber monday... which was successful for me last year.

I will say that my mall does do a special event where you can wait in line for a chance to win a $500 gift card, and they usually do that after Black Friday and last year my mom and I waited and I got a $40 gift card... so that was cool! (everyone in line got a gift card but it ranged anywhere from $5-$500)

10. One thing you love about the Fall and one thing you hate?

I love my birthday, I love the feeling and the spookiness of halloween... and everything is just kind of cozy and homey and the leaves change colors...

I hate that people make fun of fall now... cause I really love fall and I feel like my reasons are totally legitimate and I've loved fall since before all the girls on youtube were like "I HEART FALL! I BLEED THE PSL!" I always thought it was unique but I feel like its been Kardashianified and I don't like that!

Its also a little too cold here sometimes... but I kind of like the cold.

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17 Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then. He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good. We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there. And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
