Scribbles About Food: Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Cider

So I go to a Target Starbucks and the guy that works there always recommends things to my mom and I and he said "Ohhh you guys should try the apple cider! We put the Cinnamon Dulce syrup in it, you guys would really like it." And we were sold. My mom always gets the Cinnamon Dulce latte... so he knew she would like it.

And it is delicious! My mom likes getting it cold because she doesn't like hot apple cider. I like it hot because I do like hot apple cider... it is really really good either way. It's a little more flavorful than the one that Dunkin Donuts used to make... I liked that one a lot, but that Cider wasn't as flavorful heated up as it was cold... which is okay but I like hot cider... so it was a little disappointing. But this doesn't disappoint at all. Its a little more apple-y if you get it cold, a little more cinnamony if you get it hot... so that's why its good to try both. Lol.

We also like it with whipped cream and caramel and cinnamon on top... it really is a good cider for a sweet tooth.

Now compared to something like the Apple Cider at Delicious Orchards... which if you're from Central Jersey, I'm sure you're familiar with....Delicious Orchards is probably a little bit better but that's just plain apple and not a lot of spices... if you want some caramel and some spice flavor... Starbucks is your best bet. Also not everyone lives near Delicious Orchards... so if you've never had it... the Starbucks would probably be my second favorite. Nothing really compares to the Delicious Orchards... but this is a totally different taste, to me at least... so it is hard to compare it.

I hope this was useful! I would definitely recommend going off the menu for this. It also has no caffeine in it... so if you're pregnant or if you're going to starbucks with your kid and you don't want them to have caffeine... this is a good option!

Byeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
