Scribbles! 1/14-1/20

Saturday 1/14

I saw my niece again today. She is the cutest little baby! She was a little fussier today than she had been before. Lot's of "Waaaaahhhhhhh" which was cute. We sang Wheels on the Bus to her... it was a fun day.

I finished watching A Series of Unfortunate Events too. I think I'm going to watch it again... but like each part day by day in 4 days because I think that might be better... and then I'm going to pick up where I left off in the books I think, which is book 5 and then on from there... just because I really want to finish it. I don't think I need to reread the first 4 books because I remember them pretty well... and I just watched the show.

I have to admit... I was a little bit Disappointed in Sir.  They said that you couldn't see his face because it was covered in smoke

I was hoping they would do that on the show too because I liked that imagery in the book... so that was what I was most looking forward to and in turn what I was most disappointed by... but yeah. It was still pretty good. Good enough for me to want to read the books still.

I watched the Charlie Brown movie too... it was really good! I loved it! I recommend if you like the original Charlie Brown or if you have kids... it is a kids movie... so it might be a little boring for adults... but I really liked it a lot!

Sunday 1/15
I got bored... so I did end up watching A Series Of Unfortunate Events again... but as I said... I'm only doing it by each day watching a book.... that way I can appreciate it a little more I guess. I didn't go up with my parents to see Athena today because I was a little tired. So I slept in a little bit.

So I've been blogging a lot today... I'm watching Frozen now. It's actually my Nana's birthday... so my parents are bringing her home later to celebrate.

For lunch I had the microwavable TGI Friday's wings and I liked them! They heated up pretty well. So it was good!

This was a pretty boring day... but that's nice sometimes after a long week! And I did see my Nana later for her birthday! She made her own cake because we were a little too busy too with the baby... but I think she's happy that her great grandchild has a birthday so close to her own. So that's nice!

Monday 1/16
Saw the baby again! She's so cute. I didn't see her that much for the day and she was sleeping the whole time... but its just cute to see how she moves and any noise she makes or her faces... she's such a sweet little baby. I love being an aunt.

This was another interesting day where I just didn't take pictures because I went out to eat with my friends at a restaurant called Teak. I won a $100 gift card there, so I wanted to take my friends out and it was fun catching up... all my friends have a lot going on right now. Cristina got engaged recently, Alyssa is in grad school and Georgie just went to Jamaica...so there was just a TON to talk about! And we did and it was funny and the food was delicious and it was all HALF PRICED!!! Which is especially awesome! I'll have a whole blog about the food alone because that was pretty amazing.

That was pretty much it. I went to bed not long after... so yeah! It was nice!

Tuesday 1/17
I don't really remember what I did on Tuesday... I think my mom and I tried looking for more stuff for my niece... that's pretty much what happened all week... but yeah. It's hard to find premie clothes, the Laundry Detergent for babies and yeah... just kind of hard for new parents.

Wednesday 1/18
We found some more premie clothes at Buy, Buy Baby! So that was fun!

Thursday 1/19
And more shopping! TJ Maxx, I got a Beauty Storage Cube and we looked for some things for Athena... but we were only able to get a bowl with a minion on it. It was BPA free... she can't use it yet, but my sister was happy about it. We love minions here!

Friday 1/20
We went to my sisters house! My mom and I took down the ornaments from her Christmas Tree and my mom brought over dinner for them. My dad had the fun job of watching the baby!!! We went out for dinner later too and that was good.

So yeah that's everything... again sorry for no pictures... that will be my goal for next week!

Byeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
