Chart Chat 1/9/16

10) Assassin's Creed- This is a pretty popular video game... I feel like these Video Game Movies just don't do as well as they're expected to do in the US at least. If I cared about the storyline, I would just play the game. I wouldn't mind seeing a Kingdom Hearts Videogame. That seems interesting, but yeah. No interest in this movie... not even going to pretend to it... but yeah.

9) Fences- I kind of want to see this movie because Denzel is amazing, Viola Davis is amazing, and I actually like this play a lot. I read it in High School. I can't really remember what it's about... but I remember seeing where it would be a very moving play and kind of a hard one to watch. James Earl Jones was in it for a while I think. Denzel and Viola Davis have both been it on Broadway... it just looked good. I'm a little surprised it's doing so well. It's been getting rave reviews... but Viola Davis did say that it is a gamble to make money on a movie based on a stage play... not a musical. So yeah, would definitely want to see this one.

8) Moana- I loved this movie! It was really pretty and the characters were a lot of fun. The songs were amazing. I'm a big fan. It's good!

7)Why Him- This looked super funny! I don't think I'll see it, just because there are sooo many other things I want to see coming out that this will probably be gone soon since it's been out for a while and it's #7. I want to see Monster Trucks that comes out next week too... lol. But yeah, this looks funny. I'll see it sometime because I love James Franco and Bryan Cranston... but I would rather see Star Wars, Sing, La La Land, and Monster Trucks more than this.

6) Passengers- Ohhh I wanted to see this too. Dang. I'll probably see this on TV too because this would be after all those other things too and it's definitely one I could see loving when I'm at home. I think I could pay attention to this at home. Lol.

5) La La Land- This is a musical with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Of corse I want to see it! I think this might be the winner of the Oscar... first Musical winner since Chicago I think! I love musicals... so yeah. This looks different and good.

4) Underworld: Blood Wars- I think Kate Beckinsale is really cool. Never really had any desire to see any of these movies though. Maybe one day if I get super into vampires or werewolves I'll watch these movies... but right now I can do without them.

3) Sing- I really want to see the next few movies! I totally forgot about Hidden Figures too! This looks cute. It's by the same people that made Despicable Me so of corse I want to see it! It's cute! I'm excited about it!

2) Hidden Figures- This movie looks amazing! What an awesome untold story! I think I'm going to start a new blog entirely because of this movie. I love history and this looks super awesome and I'm excited its doing so well!

1) Rogue One- I just finished watching all of the original Star Wars movies for the first time as an adult. I'm super excited for this movie... haven't seen it yet... but I'm really into Star Wars now and maybe I'll see this soon! I've heard its better than The Force Awakens... and I love The Force Awakens... so yeah. I'm excited!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
