January 2017 It List

Here we go!

1) Hamilton- Making it's 11 millionth appearance on a Scribbles About Life It List... is Hamilton. I actually saw the play now! And it was the best! It is a really powerful performance! If you've listened to the soundtrack... for the most part that is what is in the show... but watching it live is just amazing! If you are wanting to see it... HIGHLY recommend trying to get tickets! It is the best.

2) Crazy Ex Girlfriend- I just bingewatched most of the second season today... and I love it! It's a really funny show... it's a really good one to bingewatch because I always want more after watching one episode. The CW shows in general would all be good if they were streamed... hmmm... Anyway yeah this season is really funny and really good.

3) A Series of Unfortunate Events- I'm going to say both the TV show and the books... even though I just started getting back into the books. I'm reading The Austere Academy right now and it's great! But the TV show was just really really funny and it was surprising. I liked the movie... but I think the series makes more sense. It came out the same day that my sister had her baby, which was Friday the 13th... so that was fun.

4) Being an Aunt- This is definitely the biggest thing that happened this month! My niece decided to join the family early... and that's been fun. I just face timed with my sister and her a few minutes ago and that was really cool! It's so cute how babies talk to you and let you know when they need you or what they want. She was crying and then my sister sang "Wheels on the bus" to her and she just fell right asleep while we were on FaceTime. So cute!

5) Caramel Latte from Starbucks- Awkward transition... so the Starbucks I usually go to does still have the holiday flavors... but I started liking the Caramel Brûlée from that... so then I started getting the regular caramel latte... and I love it! So yummy. I was just a little tired of the White Mocha... so this is a nice change for me even though it is kind of basic... it makes sense to me.

6) Bright Sun Films Abandoned Series- Random re-discovery favorite kind of... I found the channel again after their Westcot video... and now I watch their videos late at night and it's kind of spooky... but it's sort of a tradition for me so now I'm really into it. I just think there's something cool about abandoned places. There aren't many abandoned places around me... I think because of gangs... but something interesting about it!

7) Adam the Woo- I've been really liking Adam The Woo's videos this month too! He has a trailer now, and he's living in that and traveling around the country... which is cool! It's a different way of seeing the country! Right now I think he's still in Texas... so that's kind of cool!

8) The Slapp- My sister got me this for Christmas. It's a beanie with silk lining and you can fit all your hair in it, for when you go to sleep or if you want to protect your hair from the rain. It's really good for my hair especially overnight because it keeps my hair looking like I just washed it overnight. So it's really good! Highly recommend for anyone with long hair that doesn't mind looking a little funny at night.

9) My camera- I got a new camera and I love it! It's a canon point and shoot (I think that's what it's called... it's just a little digital camera.)  It's easy to use and it takes pretty good pictures! I need to get something a little more interesting to take pictures of for my "Scribbles!" Post!

That is everything! Hope you guys like this!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
