Chart chat 1/16/17

10) Passengers- this movie looked good... but also kind of bad. Lol. It's interesting, I'm not super into Sci Fi... I am super into Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence... so I think I'll make a point to watch this movie at some point.

9) Underworld: Blood Wars - Not super interested in the Underworld Franchise. Haven't seen any of the movies. I respect that they've been out forever though! That's pretty cool. Also Kate Beckinsale is kind of a badass. Maybe I'll try watching one of these for Scribbles About Feminism or something? Hmm.

8)Sleepless - Never heard of this movie... so yeah! I don't really have time too look up what it's about so we'll leave it at that!

7)Monster Trucks - surprised this movie is so low on the list! I thought it looked good, the guy from MacGyver is in it, he's hot. This reminds me of Transformers... which is a movie I don't like, but this is like the parts of Transformers that I do like... so I think it'll be good. I want to see this even though it's a kids movie!

6)Patriot's Day Not sure what this is about... so skip? Sorry if you love this movie, let me know what it's about! Maybe I'll see it!

5)The Bye Bye Man I'm surprised 2 movies I've never heard of are beating Monster Trucks... but that's cool!

4)Rouge One still haven't seen this! Not sure when I'll be able too. I'm busy being an aunt right now... but it's still playing so that's good. I love Star Wars and have avoided all the spoilers! Win!

3)Sing - loving the soundtrack of this! Gotta say I really want to see this too! It looks funny and the music is great. Plus it's illumination it's gotta be good!

2) La la land - this looks really good too! I'm sure it'll be out for a while... it's probably going to win the Oscar... but yeah. It's a good one! Maybe not, maybe it's bad... but it's a musical and Ryan gosling is in it... how can it be bad?

1) Hidden Figures - I'm so happy this movie is doing so well! I think it shows people are actually interested in women and these amazing untold stories. There's a hashtag going around Of other "hidden figures" with amazing accomplishments... so that's a hashtag to check out!

Byeee! Hope you guys like this! It's a bit rushed because I'm writing it on my phone at the hospital because my sister just had a baby a few days ago and I'm visiting her... but yeah. This is exciting to me because it's the movies that were in the top spots when my niece was born... so this is something I wanted to remember even though I've never seen any of these. Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
