Chart Chat: 1.28.16

Alright exciting Chart Chat this week!

Movies

5) Allegiant- The Divergent Series last hurrah. I haven't read Divergent yet... need to do that. Then I'll see the movies now that they are all done. I'm not one to really keep up too much with these movies... but I like Shayleene Woodly and I loves me some Ansel Elgort... so yeah. I'll see this in 3 years or something maybe. Lol.

4) Miracles From Heaven- This is one of those movies that you don't hear a lot about but they come out around Easter and they get pretty high on the charts quickly because churches go to see them as a group... kind of a gimmick for ticket sales... but this movie actually looked good to me. Idk. I like Jennifer Garner and I'll watch her in almost anything, so I'd want to see this.

3) My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2- I know this got horrible reviews but I can't wait to see this... people really don't understand My Big Fat Greek Wedding and I think they are getting this one either. I haven't seen it yet... I know my review is going to be biased because I love Nia Vardalos. She is so real and so genuinely nice. She's one of the nicest people on all of her social media, and she really does things that help people. I love her book Instant Mom, I don't think she'll write a movie about that... but that would make a great movie... and she genuinely is best friends with her co-star John Corbett so their closeness in the movie is very real because Nia Vardalos is such a friendly person and you really want to be a part of her family.

2) Zootopia- I still want to see this movie! I feel old, but my cousin said I should see it and she's only a year younger than me... so I guess I'm not too old. Lol. I'm happy this movie is doing so well. I feel like people are seeing movies multiple times this year because this and deadpool are so successful and were successful for so many weeks in a row.

1) Batman vs. Superman- Although no critics seemed to like this movie, its doing very well at the box office. Crushing a lot of records. I was really for Ben Affleck as Batman... I thought there was going to be a Benaissance, but then he allegedly cheated on Jennifer Garner and now I don't think that. What I've heard of this movie... you can see batman's mole, beard, dimple, cleft in his mask... so its quite obvious that Batman is Bruce Wayne... so I don't think I'm going to see this movie. I'm going to wait for Nerd Therapy on youtube to do a review... they're this adorable and really nice nerdy couple and they love DC and Batman... so if they don't like this you know its bad... lol. But yeah. This might be fun... idk. I'm probably not going to watch it at all if Nerd Therapy doesn't like it.

I don't think I'm going to do music this week cause I think I've talked a lot about the movie charts and that's really what I care about... so I think I'll just do movies in these from now on... yeah. Makes more sense for me to do that.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
