Weekly Wrap Up Easter Edition! 3/27/16

Favorites

Pure Leaf Iced Tea- I might do a review of these soon cause I love them and I've tried most of the flavors and I like all but one... so yeah. These have been a big favorite recently. So far I think my favorites are Peach and Raspberry. I like the Iced Tea Lemonade too. These are great.

Dance Lessons- Yep I'm taking Dance Lessons and its really fun! So I'm saying its a favorite! I like it a lot.I'm not great... but I'm doing okay and I'm having fun with it.

Instagram- Was this a favorite last week? I've been really liking it, I actually just started a new account for beauty reviews called Shannonsreviews. Its been fun. My regular instagram is called Shannonsface if anyone wants to follow that.

Highlights
Thursday was a big day. I won a radio contest, went to Ulta, took dance lessons and then at 1am I was actually able to order the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette that I've been waiting for! Friday I had dance lessons again and Saturday I went for my dress fitting.

TV
Crazy Ex Girlfriend and Jane The Virgin were really good. I missed Grey's Anatomy because I

Noteworthy Snacks
I tried the newest latte from Starbucks, the caramelized Honey Latte... I didn't like it. It wasn't that special. It didn't taste like anything to me... idk. Idk if mine was made right cause I got it from a not-so-great starbucks... but still... I'll give it another try, maybe try the frappucinno... but not my favorite.

I actually won an amazing chocolate bunny cookie jar filled with cookies. I talked about that yesterday... but yeah. Do Radio Contests, cause they can be cool!

I had some yummy cookies and cupcakes from Delicious Orchards this week too... this is another thing, if you live in Central NJ, you know what Delicious Orchards is and if you don't... go there right now. I've done a lot of local things this week. Pretty cool. Lol.

I had some delicious cheese fries from Windmill (really Jersey Week) and I took a great picture with a filter and stuff...
And I had good Penne Vodka this week too. Penne Vodka is my favorite... so that was extra good. And more cheese fries but chili cheese fries. Maybe I'll post them next week cause I haven't posted them to instagram yet.

News
Actor and comedian Gary Shandling passed away this week, he was only 66. I remember he was on The X Files because he was good friends with David Duchovny and it seems like he was a really nice person all around to a lot of comedians. Very sad.

They are also opening up an investigation on Brittney Murphy's death. She died under mysterious circumstances a few years ago. She was mentioned on a show called Hollywood Medium with Jamie Priessley and she had a very strong voice that she was contacting... not sure I believe TV psychics, but yeah.

A guest on Say Yes To The Dress is now saying the show ruined her wedding. She paid $20,000 for a plane ticket from Las Vegas to New York so that she could go to Kleinfelds... she bought the most extravagant dress in the store, it was really expensive and she signed a contract but she included in the contract that she didn't want the show to be aired before her wedding. And they aired it before her wedding. I'm getting my tiny violin out for this... that's all I'm gonna say.

World Events
The Jewish celebration of Purim was this week. I hadn't heard about this holiday before, but its really interesting. The Snap Story was one of the most fun to watch ever. Its celebrating Esther and people dress up in costumes and its pretty cool!

Spring Break, Palm Sunday and Good Friday were all this week too. First day of Spring was this week and the laws of gravity changed so that you could stand a broom up and it would stay there.

Thoughts
Sometimes you just have good days... and thats a good thing. Like that Bride on Say Yes To The Dress... she can afford the wedding of her dreams and she's with a man that she loves... so that's why I have my tiny violin. I'm no better, I was really mad cause I couldn't get the Too Faced Peach palette this week... but I did eventually get it and I knew I would... and I only wanted it cause of the hype... so that's even worse. Lol. I'm excited for it though, and just be more appreciative of things instead of non appreciative.

So that's my thing for the week. Lol. Hope you guys like it and find it fun or useful or insightful... or like the cheese fries picture. Lol. Happy Easter!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
