SKN: The Shannon Kahermanes Network- Fake Reality Shows

So a year ago today (March 16th) I wrote the funniest Facebook status updates I ever wrote... and I may have done a blog on this already... but I'm writing it again anyway because it still makes me laugh.

How it started:
"Just so everyone knows... there is a show on the Oprah Winfrey Network called 2 Fat 2 Fly. This is where we are in the world right now."

"Now I'm just going to write things that aren't reality shows, but should be all day... "

The SKN Lineup:

"The Mopp-pets: A show following rich people learning how to use a mop."

" The Full Housewives: A show where we just make families live in the full house house for a year and re-enact the zany antics that were on the show in real life. Without Modern Technology."

"Coming Soon to the Shannon Kahermanes Network (or SKN) A new game show called Is It Poison? It's like Deal or No Deal, but with a deadly twist."

"SKN regrets to inform you that Is It Poison? has been cancelled. We are pleased to announce our newest gameshow, which is called What's That Smell? In this show our contestants enter smelly apartments and try to guess what the smell is."

"Coming soon to SKN, right after What's That Smell: College Week, Stupid Arguments: People Argue over issues like how to pronounce Vanilla, what color the dress is, etc. It will be hosted by Stacey (my sister) and myself."

"America's Next Top Spider Man is back on SKN. Check out America's Next Top Spider Man: Hunger Games Edition on SKN2. Don't miss a second of the battles!"

"New for SKN: First World Problems. People explain struggles that aren't really all that difficult. "

And thats all I wrote last year... I think I'm most excited for The Mopp-pets, maybe Is it Poison? These seem like great shows! Full Housewives sounds good too.

Byeee!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
