Mini Target Hall

Okay I was going to do a Man Crush monday on a certain comedian that has a show on comedy central... but I don't really feel like writing that much. I've been packing for going back to school all night... and tomorrow I'm not sure if I will feel like writing this thing. I'm gonna try once I get back but honestly... you'll get it eventually I'm just lazy right now... which is reasonable.

But I did spend the remainder of my target gift card and then some so... let's do a teeny tiny haul because I'm broke and these won't happen for a while.

L'oreal Silkissime by Infallible Eyeliner- I got the shade highlighter. It's a rose gold color. Em cosmetics has a similar one but I don't want to pay a lot of money for something I may or may not like... so I was happy L'oreal came out with one. L'oreal owns em cosmetics so it's probably not all that different and I have loved everything I've tried from L'oreal so I'm excited about that. These apparently come in more shades, I didn't know that but if I like this I may try the plum one. Good to know.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- I got the shade honey. On youtube Leighansays always uses it and it looks like a nice color that goes with anything and looks good on anyone so that made its way into my cart.

Covergirl Trumagic skin perfecter- This just looks like a cool product. It can be a primer, it can be like a powder, you can use it without make up according to the box... I've heard good things and I've been interested in it so that'll be fun to test out.

Sally Hansen Extreme Wear Nail Polish- I love these polishes. They have nice formulation mostly and a fun color selection for a drugstore brand. I got the shades coral reef and strobe light.

21 Jump Street- I wondered into the movie aisle after... which is always fun. This is only $10 and I absolutely love this movie. It's one of my favorites that I don't own and yeah. Just a good movie.

Catch Me If You Can- Another great movie. It was $5 and I haven't seen it in forever and I remember thinking it was so good. With Leonardo Dicaprio getting nominated for an oscar it reminded me of how good he was in this movie and I just wanted to see it again.

And not at target but at Wegman's I found the one thing I really wanted to buy that they didn't have at target... The Maybeline Babyskin Primer. I've been wanting a primer and I was about to buy Benefit's porefessional primer... but I don't want to spend $30 on it. I have quite noticeable pores so I'm hoping this reduces them.

I would insert more photos... but I have horrible lighting and I have 2 primers and 2 movies so you don't need to see exactly what the colors are. These are easy to find items so you can tell what they look like from the overview. Lol. Just let me be lazy right now haha.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
