Man Crush Monday: Nick Kroll

I don't even know what I have to say about this guy that can't be said. Basically he got his start in the sitcom "Caveman" which was based off of the geico cavemen... and somehow proved himself to be one of the funniest people in the world. 

Just anything that he's in makes me laugh incredibly. Even the small role he had in Get Him To The Greek was really funny. On the league he's really funny, Kroll Show is amazing. Basically if you want me to laugh just a little bit more than I would already: Bring in Nick Kroll. The guy is amazing. 

Even when he's just a guest star on a show. He was so funny on New Girl when he was on that. On Parks and Rec he is amazing as "the Douche", probably my second favorite guest star after Jean-Ralphio... who isn't much of a guest anymore. 

My favorite Kroll Show sketches are the PubLizity sketches because their voices are just so amazing and on point. If you turned it on without knowing it was a sketch comedy show, you may think it's real. And also the sketch that was a spoof of Degrassi with all the Canadian kids in wheelchairs with Nick Kroll being the only person that can actually walk. It's just so funny. 

Anyway. Point is Nick Kroll= Awesome. Kroll Show= Awesome. I also love that it comes on after workaholics. I feel like thats just a great little set up thats also incredibly sexy and man-crushable.

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason.
