Scribbles About Music: Fall Out Boy From Under The Cork Tree- Track 11

Yeah I'm keeping the "Track number" titles of these because this sounds like a juicy story if you don't know the song. It's "A little less Sixteen Candles, a Little More 'Touch Me'" so... yeah.

This is one of my favorites from the cd too. Maybe one of the ones that made me accidentally like Fall Out Boy as well.

And last week I kind of said I sped up my writing because I didn't want to listen to the song again... this time I'm kind of slowing down because I want to hear the song again and again... so that's cool.

This is a catchy one... just stays in your head all day. It sounds like a super happy song but its kind of a good breakup song. It also seems like a good "Hey let's win the girl song" too. I remember posting "I don't blame you for being you, but you can't blame me for hating it" lyrics after a breakup. Its just a good one.

The music video for this is also really fun. Especially since the other vampires were other people from Decaydance. I think Brendon Urie was one of them, I know William Beckett and Travie McCoy were in this too... its just a fun combo of a lot of my favorite bands and I just really loved watching it when I was in high school because of that. And I loved vampires... so its a plus for that too!

It seems like a song that should be in a teen movie too. Because it is such a good breakup song or a "Say Anything" type of song. That's just how I picture it... idk. Its a good one though and if you're going through a breakup and you're still friends with the guy on Facebook... make this your status to make him angry.

Okay! That is it! The Next song I don't really like that much... so the next blog should be less fond than this one.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
