Random Haul: Target Dollar Spot, 5 Below, Dollar Tree and Barnes And Noble

Okay... I've been wanting to do this for a while, and now its gotten more of a collective haul... so here is everything! I'll try to take pictures of what I can!

Target Dollar Spot
They had a bunch of adorable things for Christmas... so I had to get some!

First and kind of least interesting, I got a portable phone charger. They had a gold one that I thought was really nice. I don't know where it is right now... it doesn't hold a charge for very long, that's the only kinda crappy thing about it. So if your phone is on low low battery... it might only get it halfway charged... but for $5 or $3 or whatever it was ... that's not the worst. It comes pre-charged and it has a cord where you can charge it and use it again. It's okay... if you need something, its not bad for the price.

I also got a phone case. I kind of love it, its clear, but it has gold glitters that slide down from one side to the other... its fun to watch and play with. I feel like its actually quite protective too compared to my old phone case. I have it wrapped with the life-proof wrap too, and then I have this on... so I feel like its well protected and it just looks nice and pretty for the holidays... and its fun to play with.

Can't get a video to post... on it... but you get the idea!

And I'm a sucker for cute boxes, and they had nice little boxes that you could put jewelry or whatever in... so I got one. Its mirrored with some gold spots on it. Sooo pretty! I love it!

Dollar Tree
My mom actually got me 2 solar powered dancing pilgrims. These 2 dance really good in my window and I like them a lot! So cute!

5 Below
More solar powered things! I got a Snowman, an Abominable Snowman and a Polar Bear! These were only 89 cents each and they were really cute!

I got a tiny coloring book, I think it was only $2. I thought it looked pretty on the inside! I'm excited to try it.

I got a contact lens case... this was just a dollar, and it was useful and pretty... so I thought I'd get it!

Then I saw a little organizer thing that I thought would be useful for makeup. I have some lipsticks in it now, its cute and it works really well. I think this was $5... maybe it was $4.

And last but not least, I got a minion ornament! It's Stuart with his guitar... it was really cute, I loved it... so I needed it of corse!

Barnes and Noble
My mall always does a thing around Black Friday where the first 500 customers in line get a tote bag filled with a bunch of coupons and a gift card from anywhere between $5-$500. Last year I got $40... this year I only got $5... but my mom got $5 too and she gave me her gift card too. So I went to Barnes and Noble and I got a coloring book and some notebooks.

The Coloring book I got was Johanna's Christmas by Johanna Bashford... I thought this was really pretty. I like Johanna Bashford's Jungle Coloring book... so I wanted to try this. I like that it doesn't have anything on the backs of the page, so I can use magic markers with it and hang it up on my wall as a Christmas decoration.
Here are pics of the ones I've done so far!

I also got a notebook called "Quotes to Inspire" which has an inspirational quote and then asks you to write something based off of that quote. I like this one because, these are real quotes from real people. I have some issues with a lot of inspirational quotes because... idk. There are so many issues. Maybe that will be my before bed blog sometime... lol. But this was cheap, and I thought it was a good idea.

And I got a regular notebook with a skull on it. It looked cool. I have a friend that likes skulls that I want to get another one for!

Target Dollar Spot again
First off I got a big wire envelope holder. I thought this would be good for some of my bigger makeup palettes. Its hard to store them, and this was the prettiest way to do so.

And I got a little binder because I saw that they had planner papers that had specific times on them and then I like that, so I got one of those papers and then another one that had month and day by day papers... I thought these were cool. I'll do a whole "planner binder" thing maybe... but I like this a lot. It's pretty and it has something for everything more or less.
Here are the Month pages.

This is the Hourly pages... I kind of want this because I want to block out times for writing.

And this is just easy to write a lot of stuff and keep track of my blogs and stuff like that.

Here is what the binder looks like. It's pretty!

And a while ago I got these rose gold lights that looked really pretty! They're rose gold and they have like a cracked paint type of design. It's pretty! I can't get a great picture... but here it is!

And I got the movie Sisters, this wasn't in the dollar spot, but the Blu Ray was on Sale for $10! And I love this movie! I'll probably watch it tonight! I also got the movie Easy A on DVD. I've been wanting to watch that movie again and it was on sale for $4! Crazy how things like that work out sometimes right?!?!?!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
