Scribbles About TV: How To Get Away With Murder Winter Finale Review/ Reaction+ SPOILERS

Last season I was totally unimpressed with How To Get Away With Murder... and this year it has just been amazing me! Since the very first episode of the season too... it was just sooo good.

And I thought that they were really going to bait and switch us. Having us all pumped all season long for one of the students that we've been following all series died and then they pick someone like Simon or Oliver... or even Nate to die... but no. They went with the main character, our window to the world of How To Get Away With Murder... and the hottest guy on the show: Wes.

I was actually gasping when it all happened. First off: I always watch the show with my mom... and she fell asleep! Can you believe that? She fell asleep RIGHT BEFORE THE REVEAL! She was even the one to kind of make me watch the show because we missed the last couple episodes. Really mom? I wasn't going to tell her... but I had to.

Lol anyway back to the show... so I was gasping and when they were like "He was dead before the fire" I was like "Wahhhhhhhtttt?" So I'm wondering 1) Who Started The Fire? 2) Who Killed Wes? 3) Why? Was it all the same person? If Frank killed Wes, I don't think he started the fire because I don't think Frank would have put Laurel in that amount of danger. I thought it was Annalise that wanted him dead... but I also wonder if Bonnie wanted her in jail? She's done nothing good for Bonnie, but Bonnie is still so loyal to her. Annalise also has a huge emotional connection to Wes... so it seemed like she should have been more upset... but no she just tells Oliver to clean her phone.

Let's circle back to Oliver for a little bit... because OLIVER SUCKS! He was pretty boring in the first couple seasons. But now that he broke up with Connor... he's terrible. He's the one that broke up with Connor! Connor stayed with him when he found out Oliver was HIV positive, and then Oliver goes on dates with guys from Humper and tells Connor about it... and then when Connor starts seeing people Oliver is like "You know it's really hard for me to see you doing so well because its really hard for me to date because I'm positive." Seriously Oliver? You're just as bad as Annalise.

I kind of love the Bonnie/Frank thing that's happening... but the show is weird in the sense where if two people are alone on screen... they will make out. They might have sex... and its just sort of comical that that's the way this show is, just because its on at 10pm. It's just kind of funny. I could see this being paroyed really easily. And the Bonnie/ Annalise scene just kind of made me like "really okay?" And Frank and Connor were together too? My mom was half asleep and said that. The guy he was with last night looked a little like Frank... so I'm not quite sure of that one because there were no mentions of it all this week... and it seems like something they should allude to? Idk. Maybe not... Not sure! Didn't see the episodes.

And I hope this was a good move on HTGAWM's part. I thought it was a great season so far because of the twist... and I'm really happy that it wasn't a let down... but I don't know how I feel about the show without Wes. There are a lot of other great characters too... so I could see Laurel or someone else taking the lead... but I'm sad it won't be Wes. I thought for sure he'd be safe... but damn! No one is safe in Shondaland!

So yeah... overall really great season so far. Really great twist... I hope it won't lead it back into the shaky grounds of last season. So yeah. I think a lot of TV shows have been the best they've ever been this year... I'm hoping Scandal is really good this year too. I stopped watching Grey's... which is a good show, but I just couldn't deal with it anymore. And Meredith is sooo mean.

Anyway... let me know what you thought of the episode if you watch this show... I'll probably have another Scribbles About TV next week... I've gotta finish Stranger Things and I want to get that up before the new year... and I'm doing blogmas... so yeah.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
