November 2016: It List

Here are some of my favorites this month!

1) Late Night TV- So after the events of the election... I figured I would watch as much Late Night TV as I could... so I've been trying to watch just about every show. My favorite is Stephen Colbert... so far. I also really like John Oliver though. Seth Meyers and James Corden are really funny. I like Jimmy Fallon a lot. I started watching Samantha Bee too... so yeah. That is a lot of late night tv... I will probably watch more just because its easy and its fun... and a good way to keep up with the news in a satirical way. If you want a lighter satire I'd say Jimmy Fallon and the... darkest satire is probably Sam Bee or John Oliver because they're on cable and can kind of tell it like it is.

2) Sugar Cookie Egg Nog- I almost don't want to even mention this because its hard to get and its really really good... we've been buying as many as we can when we see it... so if you live in Central Jersey... sorry for the low stock and also don't buy it because I want it! Lol. But yeah... it is amazing! I love it. They haven't had it in a couple years... but they brought it back, and now I'm happy. Lol. I'm not even saying the brand because... I'm selfish. It's Hood. Lol.

3) How To Get Away With Murder- That twist though!!!!! Was not expecting that at all... I'm a little sad... but I think its a good twist and I'm curious to see how the rest of the series goes.

4) Hamilton- If you're wondering if I still like Hamilton or not... I do even more now! I listened to it so much during the election... and its helping me have faith in the world and I feel like I have a new appreciation for it.

5) Super Carlin Brothers- I love these guys! They have really interesting videos, now they're mostly about Disney and Pixar, which I also love... but the first couple years they just had conversations and it was really interesting and I like just having on Super Carlin Brothers while I do things like clean my room or something because it is just a lot of fun.

6) Joanne by Lady Gaga- Great cd. I actually just did a review on it right here and I think its really good. Its kind of different and I really liked it! Its a good one!

7) Johanna's Christmas- Speaking of Joanne, Johanna's Christmas is a coloring book I got recently that I've really been liking. It gets me in the christmasy mood and its just a good one! I really like it a lot!

8) Simply Christmas By Leslie Odom Jr- I'm going to have a review on this soon enough, but I really like it! He has a nice voice... and Ave Maria just brings tears to my eyes. Its a beautiful cd and I recommend downloading it or streaming it if you can.

And I think that is everything! Hope everyone is having a nice day!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
