Did you know everything you read online is 100% True???? Also Good things that happened.

Well, its not! You know why? I read it online!

If you remember I used to do a blog post called "Scribbles About News" and I stopped. I think it was because one time all the news I was reading/ hearing was bad. And then I never picked it up again because it was hard to talk about while being respectful... and I wasn't doing it for the reasons I wanted to. I wanted to start talking about good things that happened throughout the week, like not too long ago a kid saved his allowance to buy lunch for the Police Officers in his area. That's the stuff I like hearing about and the stuff I wanted to talk about.

So why did I not end up reporting those stories? I forgot them! With all of the crappy stuff that happened, I just couldn't remember the good stuff... and that shouldn't happen. I think even with all the horrible stuff in the world... it is a good place. Sure we live in a world with Ryan Lochte... but you know who else is a person? Lin Manuel Miranda! And that is an awesome thing. For every Ryan Lochte, John Gossling, Kanye, Kardashian, and Shia Lebeouff... there is a Lin Manuel Miranda. There is Emma Watson. There is Tom HANKS! Betty White! There are so many good people in the world. And I'm sure there are way more Betty Whites than there are Ryan Lochte's.

There are more inclusive and diverse Barbie Dolls now. There are ads now that show kids with down syndrome. We currently have a black president and some people got to vote for a woman president.

I guess that doesn't really have to do with what I'm angry about... which is the fake news. I'm really upset that there are so many fake news articles going on around Facebook and everywhere... and we really aren't helping. The picture of Trump saying he'd run as a republican because republicans are dumb... I believed he said that... I didn't reblog it... but I liked a person that did. There's that "Brad Pitt" quote about how he started being a good husband after thinking "we'll just get divorced soon because my wife is sick" or something along those lines. And it was long before they got divorced... but there was nothing that was like "goals" about that letter anyway its actually a pretty bad way to look at relationships. I mean I'm single AF... but still.

Anyway yeah... so yeah. Don't believe Facebook news. I'm trying to not look at it at all... but then I see Carrie Fisher and I'm like "Ohhh no... I hope she didn't die" click. "Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford had an affair?!?!?!?!?!?! I don't know where to actually get credible news. I trust the reporters on the CBS Morning Show... and late night tv.

So yeah!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
