How to-sday: How to do a basic special event look

Heyyyy guys so I don't have any pictures of my make up like freshly done or anything... I may try to take a pic of the outfit at the end of the night... Idk I'm writing this before the wedding so that I can remember the products a little bit better.

Sooo first I primed my face with benefits porefessional primer and then I applied my rimmel stay matte foundation.

I then used my ELF bronzing brush, which I just bought and like and used my chocolate sole I bronzer on the hollows of my cheek. I then used my elf small stipple brush and put on some of my sephora baked blush duo in guava glow and just put that on the apples of my cheeks. Then I took the other side of the elf bronzing blush and I used the upper part of the brush for my highlight in the physicians formula shimmer strips.

For my eyes I used my Maybeline color tattoo in inked in pink and then I went into my Naked 3 Palette. I used burnout all over my eyes , buzz into the outer corners and a tad into the crease and then I used Nooner all over my crease. I used my rimmel scandal eyes in nude on my waterline to brighten my eyes up a bit. And I applied my too faced better than sex mascara.

And for my lips I put on my buxom gloss in the color Shannon.

My dress is a striped Maxi Dress from Calvin Klein.
My necklace is my favorite statement necklace from forever 21, I wore tiny heart stud earrings from American eagle and a really cool statement ring from American Eagle. My shoes are blingy Mossimo flip flops from Target and my nail polish is Essie's Bikini so Teeny.

... and yeah I don't have pics right now... woops. Sorry guys. This is kind of a sucky post, I realize that... lol.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
