Streets Ahead- Get Streets Ahead of comedy television!

So I am mourning the loss of Community still and I don't want this to happen to any more of my shows, so I am going to tell you all the comedy shows on all of the networks that exist.

CBS
Pass... They don't have the best comedies. I used to watch HIMYM, but that's over and the end sucked. I've caught some Mike and Molly... Melissa McCarthy is funnier than that. I also used to watch the Big Bang theory... And it's not like it doesn't make me laugh but it's not groundbreaking really. Also Two Broke Girls I used to watch but not anymore... It's bad. Just skip CBS for comedy. If you're looking for a good news show though watch Sunday Morning. My new Sunday Morning ritual is having my puppy wake me up around when that is on. That's what I think happened the last couple of weeks and it's amazing.

NBC

Nbc has always had the best comedies, but sadly now there is only Parks and Recreation. I wonder what the schedule will be for the fall because they cancelled all of their comedies pretty much and Parks and Rec is trying to wrap up by next season... Now I'm not sure they'll be able to. It's just a damn shame that they have no comedies right now. First two networks I picked too this is shitty.

But hey, there's a new comedian coming to town and although right now she may only be the present Shannon Kahermanes, I hear she's the next Tina Fey. Lol.

Fox
I actually recommend a lot here. New Girl is obviously a really funny show... I was getting a little bit tired of it because it's a lot similar to The Mindy Project and I don't need to see two of the same show on the same night, but it is quite great.

The Mindy project is sooo much better though! If there is one Fox Comedy I want you to watch, it's The Mindy Project. I'm a girl, it's slightly a girly show, but the cast is so funny I don't see how a guy wouldn't enjoy this show. Mindy Kaling, Chris Messina, Adam Pally, Ike Berkawitz... These are just some of the amazing funny people. Plus they have a ton of fantastic guest stars, and Mindy and Danny are the best couple ever. OTP!!!

Also Brooklyn 99. This is a new show, this is the funniest new comedy probably since I've seen Parks and Rec, I was not expecting to love this, but it is fantastic and just all around great.

And Bob's Burgers. The non-Macfarlene animated show... Which is an amazing thing! And it is a funny show. There's Bob who is an Average-Joe burger flipper who loves puns and Thanksgiving, his wife Linda who loves to sing and chant, Oldest daughter Tina who loves boys, butts and zombies, middle child Gene who loves keyboard fart noises and farts, Louise who is the crazy-scheming youngest child that is probably smarter than her parents and is an evil genius in adorable bunny ears!

That not enough to get you to watch...PLOT TWIST Bob is voiced by Jon Benjamin, Gene is voiced by Eugene Mirman, Louise is Kristin Schaal. They also have a lot of funny guest stars, like Nick Kroll, Megan Mullaly is on a lot, Jenny Slate and Aziz Ansari have also guest starred multiple times. It's just great!!! Check it out.

Abc
Trophy Wife!!! I just started to watch this show and it is amazing. Malin Akerman. Bradley Whitford,  Marcia Gay Harden, Michaela Watkins... All hilarious. Natalie Morales of Parks and Rec also guest stars frequently, the guy from Ben and Kate.... And I just read they fucking cancelled it. Damn. I liked this show, it was kind of a long shot because it had all stars in it. It was kind of hit or miss. The writing was not 100% there. I know a little something about writing tv shows and they would just kind of skip over things that they shouldn't skip over. I really like it, but I can see how it got cancelled. I think maybe someone with little tv writing experience wrote the show... But yeah. Funny enough for me to recommend and miss- mostly for Michaela Watkins- but it's a little sad.

I was also going to recommend The Neighbors as well... But that got cancelled too. This is sad too. This was such a different show and it. It was about aliens that move next door to people. It's just good and different. If Abc family picks it up or something, watch it.

Comedy Central

Here it have a lot! This is where it's at with tv really.

Workaholics, Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, Kroll Show, Review, @midnight, dailly show, Colbert report... Basically every live action show they have... I don't watch many animated shows, but still.

Fx & Fxx

Louie, The League, Always Sunny... Just all good shows. Funniest shows.
Louie is a about Louie Ck, the League is about a fantasy football league, always Sunny is about low-life's that own a bar. Just good stuff.

Netflix has Arrested Development, if you haven't heard of that by now where the fuck have you been? They may have new episodes. Not sure there. Orange is the new black also a comedy but sort of not a comedy. There's a new show on Hulu called Orlando housewives or something that sounds funny... I've only seen a few eps of Silicon Valley but that's good. IFC has some good shows I should watch. USA is getting into the comedy game... Apparently I need to watch some of these.
It seems like comedy is kind of dead right now... This isn't something I realized when I started to write this post... But let's face it a lot of these recs weren't even that good and these are the best comedies on television right now. There is something wrong with this and now I'm feeling a bit more inspired to write some comedies, although I find it a little disheartening that something as funny as Community can get cancelled and it is unlikely that I will ever write something that funny.... This kind of sucks. Now I'm re-examining my life... Ugh. This is a sad day for everyone.

Byeeeee!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...
