It List: May 2014!

I'm already excited about this list. May is going to be good, I can feel it!

1) This Forever 21 Statement Necklace-

I have a thing for Forever 21 statement necklaces right now... and it's not bad. I've been loving basic tops lately, I've been wearing a solid color, a bright color but a solid one and getting a nice Statement Necklace that has a lot of different colors in it and just pairing the two together. It's really a nice effortless chic look. You can get nice Statement Necklaces anywhere pretty much, but Forever 21 has a lot of fun designs and colors. This matches just about everything I own. I was wearing this today and I was trying on dresses for an upcoming family wedding and it was just a simple Black and White striped maxi dress, but this necklace made it look so nice. I think I'm going to wear that along with the dress. I'll post pictures and maybe do a blog about what make up/dress I'm wearing to there. I'm not a part of the wedding, I'm just a family-friend of the groom, so it's going to be a more casual wedding guest look.

2) Pink Hot Crush Fragrance Mist- I really love this scent! It's new from Victoria Secret Pink and they had the mists for $5 and I've been digging it. It's pretty strong, so you don't need to spray a whole whole lot to get the smell... unless you're feeling smelly like I was, in which case spray a lot. It makes me feel princessy for some reason. It's just a more luxurious scent than most. The fragrance description is Jasmine and Warm Caramel... and it works surprisingly well together! Idk, just for pink this feels super fancy and girly and I love it!

3) Avon Foot Works Ginger and White Tea- Okay, so the whole Avon Foot Works line is just a lifesaver in general... but I've just tried some of their ginger and white tea products and I LOVE IT! They have a nice soothing herbal scent that I really like. I just used the scrub in the shower or bathtube and then I used the day mask and the nourishing cream. I had tried avon's scrubs and nourishing creams for feet before, but I had never tried a foot mask and that sounded sooo interesting. I love it. It's like a scrubby texture. I apply it by dabbing dots all over my feet and then rubbing it in... I mean that was the easier way I applied it. I tried it a different way on the other foot that didn't work as well. This says you can also use it on your legs, which is nice too. I literally just used these, but my feet feel softer than they've ever felt already, so I thought I'd mention that.

Also they have a blister stick in their foot works line that is MIRACULOUS! Just rub a little bit onto wherever you usually get blisters or other icky things on the feet and it will prevent that! I usually do it before a long day in the city, or if I'm working in less than comfy shoes. It's also really compact, so it's easy to throw in your purse if you think you'll need it. Love this!

4) New Klondike Candy Bar Ice Cream Bars & Wegman's S'mores Ice Cream- Sooo these are technically 2 things, but I'm putting them as one because they're both ice cream and probably not everyone lives near a wegmans... but I think everyone has access to Klondike Bars.

So these Klondike Bars are new. They come in 3 different flavors Caramel Peanut, Cookies and Cream and something with the word fudge in it. I haven't tried cookies and cream yet but I have a feeling I'll love it. The Peanut and Caramel one was really good, tasted like a Crunch ice Cream Bar. The Fudge one was really really good, very chocolatey. I used to love Nestle Crunch Ice Cream Bars when I was little, I'm pretty sure they still make them. These are like that, but they don't have the popsickle stick... so delicious ice cream without garbage. That's nice. Klondike Bars are actually not that unhealthy either. I think a regular run-of-the-mill "what would you do for a klondike bar" klondike bar is only 150 calories... I don't think these would be astoundingly higher than that... But who cares they are delicious!

And the wegman's s'mores ice cream... ohhh my gosh. I'm a fan of S'mores flavored anything. I love S'mores I loved the candy bars and cereal they used to make. I love s'mores milkshakes, anything I
just love the flavor. I also really like Graham Crackers in my ice cream because it gets frozen and
crumbly and good... This has all of that... but those aren't even the main reason why I like it. The
flavor of the ice cream itself... IS MARSHMALLOW! It's not just some vanilla bullshit with candy in it! They put real marshmallow ice cream in this stuff! And its not like cheap marshmallow ice cream, its like the real deal. It's sooo sooo good. I just had it and the feeling of having good ice cream is still in my mouth and its pretty damn amazing guys. They used to make S'more's Drumstick Ice Cream cones and they had marshmallow flavored ice cream, but now they only sell them as mini's with other drumstick flavors I don't like as much... but this marshmallow ice cream is wayyy better than that. I really like the ice cream from Wegmans, they have a lot of flavors similar to Ben and Jerry' and they taste just as good, but they're cheaper. They have a good one called Under The Boardwalk with Salted Caramel, they have one called Cherrylicious that is their version of Cherry Garcia... they just have good stuff. Don't overlook it!

5) Gloria Jean's Pistachio chiller- this tastes amazing! I wasn't totally sure about it, but I always forget how amazing and sweet pistachios are in desserts! I don't typically eat a lot of pistachio things, but this was really amazing. I may or may not go back to Gloria jeans for another... Probably will soon! Lol

6) Bath and Body Works Oahu Coconut sunshine- this scent is absolutely amazing. I smelled it and loved it right away! I got the body spray, the triple moisture lotion and the "glow lotion." I love the smell, I haven't used the glow lotion that much cause it scares me, but it's a good bronzing glowing lotion, I like it. But seriously go sniff this. It's incredible!

7) Qdoba Queso dip- I had never tried this before and I was like " hey isn't that what Qdoba is famous for" so I tried it and it's pretty dang amazing. Qdoba in general is pretty amazing, but the Queso in particular is quite wonderful!

8) Origins Charchol face mask- I've only tried this nice, but this works WONDERS! All of my bumpy spots on my face cleared up, my skin looks really nice and fresh and incredible. It clears your
pores really nicely and it just feels incredible. I only have a sample pack from sephora, but I'm probably going to buy a full size. I also think Freeman's has a Charchol mask.. I feel like I've heard a bad review, but next time I see it I may give it a try just too see if there's a drugstore option. I like Freeman's a lot and I think it will work nicely.

9) Community- I love this show,  this is always a favorite, but due to its cancellation I've been watching old episodes a lot more... This show is just amazing. Definitely recommend... I'm watching it right now, it's the episode cooperative caligraphy I have a tumblr about television, I'll probably blog a bit about that!

10) The Hush Sound- I think this band is sadly not together anymore, but they have 3 cds and they are damn good! I've liked this band for a long time, but with all the music on my ipod, I often overlook their cds... but they are just amazing. They have two lead singers, a girl named Greta who also plays  piano and has a very soft and beautiful voice. If you've ever listened to Razia's Shadow (another great cd I overlook a lot!) she is the girl towards the end. The princess... I forget her name. And the other lead singer is a guy named Bob (I think) who has a really nice and different voice than most male singers. All their songs have piano and guitar pretty much, but her songs are softer piano songs and his songs are a little bit more rock-ish. They also have a lot of great songs where they both sing and they're voices just work sooo sooo well together. They were friends in high school and she was more into piano and classical music and he was more into rock and they really do balance themselves out perfectly that way.

I actually met them too years ago when they were on the Honda Civic Tour with Panic at The Disco. First off, they're amazing live, second they were all super nice. I don't really remember talking to all of them, but I remember Greta commented on the Panic at the Disco shirt that I was wearing. I just thought that that was nice for her to take notice of it. She's also absolutely gorgeous. She's beautiful, talented, but she isn't super conceited about it. I'm just a big fan.

All of their cds are really great, so I don't know if there is one that is my absolute favorite. I think I like their first two cds better, but the third cd is very upbeat and happy and pretty inspirational also.(Break the sky is a great song to listen to after a break up... or just when you feel down.) The second CD has the most beautiful cover art ever. I'll insert the cover art here
. I kind of want to live there, not going to lie. It looks enchanted and beautiful. Love it.

Also they're albums are called So Sudden, Like Vines, and Goodbye Blues, released in that order. My friend plays piano and likes to use their songs, so if you're musical and want to look for something to play, I do recommend.

And they're good to listen to while writing a paper or studying because they are pretty mellow. That's why I've started listening to them lol.

So that is everything. Today is my last day of exams,  and I'm super excited to be done. I have summer classes, but still its nice to at least be half done. I have lots more blogs planned/pre-written so I'm excited to share those with you also. I won't be posting on Saturday though, but Monday I have a special MCM. I am excite!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
