Woman Crush Wednesday: Amy Schumer

My recent comedy obsession has been Amy Schumer. She is just soo soo funny, she has amazing timing and she's just all around awesome.

As a girl that wants to get into comedy... I feel like its hard. I mean there are TONS of funny women and amazing comics of all sorts of backgrounds and whatnot... but still I feel like comedy is kind of a boys club, but Amy Schumer made it a girl club by proving she's one of the guys. She is just one of the smartest people ever probably for doing that.

When you first see Amy Schumer she just looks like this cute little blonde girl but then she says all these gross dirty sex jokes that are sooo soo funny. Her special is called "Mostly Sex Stuff" her show is called "Inside Amy Schumer" and her tour is "The Back Door Tour"... you kind of know what to expect with her and that is awesome. And she totally owns it. It's just awesome. I say she kind of "made herself one of the guys" because I feel like people don't think women are as funny as men. And her jokes are really just as funny as Louis Ck or any other male comic. She is just amazing.

And even her jokes that aren't about sex stuff are really funny. There was a sketch on her show where she farted when she got scared and there was a Scream-type of killer in her house and she kept farting so he found her. It was funny. And her "racism" jokes aren't like outwardly racist, but she keeps referring to herself as a racist and its really funny... maybe this makes me sound terrible lol. But its kind of like her "racist" jokes are the funniest and most tastefully done. I don't know if that sounds terrible, I'm just trying to say she's funny because she knows where to go and where to stop and its pretty great.

Sooo yeah thats about it! Amy Schumer is funny and awesome. Women in general are funny and awesome! I'm done with classes right now and I'm very happy! Even though I start summer classes soon, I'm just happy to

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
