10 Random Thoughts: Scribbles About Life 11/19/15

So I really wanted to post the American Horror Story Rewatch yesterday... but that didn't happen and I didn't re-watch the Murder House episodes yet... so That will probably be tomorrow. I'm going to start doing those every other week. Right now I just kind of wanted a bit of a break... so I'll just tell you some things on my mind right now!

1) The TGIT Winter Finale's are tonight. I'm really excited! I'm especially excited for How To Get Away With Murder. That's my favorite... and I know Scandal is a better show than Grey's... but I always have fun watching Grey's. It isn't super serious, I can kind of half pay attention to it.

2) I'm doing something special on my beauty blog for december and I'm calling it the 12 days of Blogmas. I'm going to do a holiday look every other day in the month of December. And maybe I'll do something like that here too.

3) Don't protest Starbucks because of their holiday cups. My starbucks has a list of gifts for people that you can donate to them... and thats the best way to get in the Christmas Spirit if you ask me. I'd rather make someone else have a great Christmas than be mad at a company for something stupid.

4) My mall is doing something Saturday where the first 500 people get tote bags with a gift card in it with a surprise amount! I'm totally going!

5) I want to get the Lady Gaga/ Tony Bennet Christmas Cd. I don't really know if this exists, but I think it does. They're both so good. I'm obviously a huge fan of Gaga and I love that she can do her pop songs, but then do really classic songs with Tony Bennet.

6) Also I loved her on AHS last night. I think The Countess and James March are 2 of my favorite characters. I know it wasn't really anything super special... I just think the amount of detail to her character was pretty cool... and its rare in AHS that we get an entire episode dedicated to the backstory of a character. I think Gaga is doing a great job.

7) Also I like the She and Him Christmas CD and the Kelly Clarkson one. I should get these. I want to get my mom the Kelly Clarkson one... or tell my dad to download it for her cause I know she likes Kelly Clarkson.

8) The Muppets is really reminding me of Bojack Horseman lately. The characters act like the animals they're representing and I think that's cool.

9) I need to get more experimental with the pasta sauces I eat. I loveeee pasta and whenever I try a new pasta sauce... I always end up liking it. I had Alfredo for the first time in a long time recently and that was good... it was my first time trying it other than my Freshman dining hall too... so it was the first real alfredo and it was good. And I had Pumpkin Ravioli this week, which I've had before recently and this was very different, but also very good. My mom found this maple finishing butter thingy and that went well with it, but we also have a pumpkin pasta sauce that would go well with it, and it would work with tomato sauce also I think.

10) We had some food SNAFU's today also. Remember how I mentioned how much I love the Wegman's Cheese slices for cheese and crackers? Well my mom was eating them today, and saw that there was mold at the bottom of some pieces... so don't buy too much cheese. We may have had it longer than we thought, the date was still good... but the packaging lets in some moisture. So that was bad. Also I was eating Ritz Crackers with Wispride today and they dumped the salt on a few of the crackers! Like it was covered in Salt!!! And it got the rest of the sleeve too salty too... and before reaching that cracker, it wasn't salty enough... so that was an Ordeal!

Hope you have 10 good thoughts today too. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
