Weekly Wrap Up: 11/21/15

Alrighty lets just get right into it!

Favorites

Egg Nog Latte- I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of favorites this week. The Egg Nog Latte is a big one. This I feel like they have a little later than the other holiday lattes... but its my favorite. This year I think it's even better than previous years. Its so christmasy and good and delicious. I love it.

Comedy Bang Bang- I've been behind on this podcast... but I just started listening to it again and it is amazing. It's really funny and just a fun thing to listen to while cleaning your room or anything. The show actually had Eagles of Death Metal on a recent episode. That is the band that's concert hall was targeted during the attacks in Paris, killing 90 people. Which is very sad, this podcast was obviously before that happened, it was an episode early in October, but you can tell they are good natured and easy to get along with guys. They were funny and fun to listen to. They didn't perform on the show at all, but they seemed like they were funny and even though they weren't comedians they did a good job on the podcast.

Sephora Favorites Dry Shampoo set- Idk what the name of this was... I think it was the style extender set or something. Anyway its a set with a bunch of different Dry Shampoos, I believe 8 are in the box. I've already tried half of them and I really like them! My favorite so far is from a brand called Amika... but these are all things I'd repurchase I think. Not a bad value set.

What I watched
Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend were great. I'm excited for the black friday episode of Jane The Virgin which is set entirely in Target because Jane the Virgin is an hour long Target Commercial. Also I think I'm team Rafael again... idk I just don't want him to end up alone. I'm fine with Michael ending up alone... but Raf is just so lovable! I love him! I'm sure I'll be team Michael again soon... but right now Team Rafael!

I'm also team Greg for Crazy Ex Girlfriend. I like Greg and they have great chemistry. I feel the way Rebecca does about Josh though. I got all giddy when he said he was attracted to her. I like her a lot. Lol.

American Horror Story was good! I thought it was different and I like The Countess, she is one of my favorites!

TGIT was good!  Not great... but good. How To Get Away With Murder is slightly unbelievable at this point... by a lot... but its still fun to watch. And Grey's was good. Penny is THE WORST! She wasn't in this episode very much but she was the worst in it. Scandal was good too. Scandal I like... but its probably my least favorite of the 3 shows. When its good its really good... but sometimes its just meh. I like the topical current events episodes... but sometimes I get a little bored with them. Its a weird relationship.

Shark tank I kind of watched. People had some dumb stuff, but I liked the update on the Mensch on The Bench! I thought that was cool, really nice idea.

Highlights
I feel like I mostly just ate pizza this week... yeah 3 times... lol probably not great... but... ya know.

I went shopping on Wednesday. That was fun. And Saturday the first 500 people to go to my mall got a tote bag with a gift card in it... so thats cool. This hasn't happened yet, I'm writing this on Friday... but Hopefully I got the $500 gift card and I'll let you know! Lol. Probably not. I probably got $5... but its still really nice that the mall is doing that right? I didn't get the 500 but I did get $40! I woulda been happy with $5! No complaints! I went to sephora and got a holiday Gift Set from Stila!

I am doing something different on my other blog for Christmas... so I've been pretty focused on that. and... yeah. Just chill in!

And I'm in a food coma right now and still have yet to watch one of the American Horror Story Episodes for my Re-watch... so that will be up in a little bit. Maybe tomorrow. I haven't been feeling like posting here as much... just I have something big going on on my other blog for December and this I feel like I'm neglecting, but I still want to put fun, funny and thoughtful posts... so maybe I'll write more quick, personal posts instead of all reviews and things like that. That's a lot easier and it makes more sense for this blog being about life... but I'm also a private person... so I don't love revealing my whole life... and there are lots of bits and pieces of my life here. I am obsessed with AHS, I do eat a lot and idk.

I've been in kind of a good mood lately too. So that's always a good thing.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
