Top 5 Friday: Favorite Fictional Characters

This probably isn't the full entire list... But there is a good number of characters here that are definitely favorites of mine. I think right now I'm just going to post about 5 since it is Top 5 Friday... But I watch a lot of tv,and I've seen a lot of movies and read a lot of books... So there will always be more. Lol.

First I want to mention my favorite television character of all time: Gob Bluth. I love Arrested Development obviously and all of the Bluths could be mentioned in this... But Gob is totally what got me to love this show. He's just so strange and funny that he really isn't like any other character on television. He's wacky like Kramer, but not quite as smart. He's kind of dumb and a womanizer like Joey Tribianni, but he's not as dumb and he's got a lot more sadness in him. He's just funny all around and Will Arnett played him to a perfection!

Next I have to mention my other favorite tv character: Ron Swanson. All of the Pawnee residents are amazingly hilarious, but Ron Swanson is the clear winner there! Again, there are no characters on tv that are like Ron Swanson and he's just the best on all the shows. Especially with his ex wives... He is just so funny!

Mia Thermopolis has also always been one of my favorite characters and a character I really think has taught me a lot about life and has sort of created me as a person. I feel like my life would be a lot different and I would be a much different person if I hadn't started reading these books. Now that I'm reading them as an adult too, I'm loving noticing how strong she is and she is really just a powerful person all around. Love this book, cannot get enough!

I also have to mention Amy Elliot Dunne...not that I would necessarily agree that she is a good person but as a character she is one of the most interesting. In general the story is just so detailed and layered but really Amy made Gone girl into the story that it is and it's awesome and probably the best book ever. Mad props to Gillian Flynn for creating such an amazing and detailed character to say the least.

And last but certainly not least I'm going to cheat and mention 2 people because I really kind of hate one of them... But the other makes me like him. It's Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Walter White is a very bad man and in the final season of the show, he was downright despicable but his relationship with Jesse always kind of made him human. I was very concerned with Jesse throughout the show and I knew (spoilers) that Walter would die and he had to and I was happy he did... But if Jesse had died I probably would have lost it. I kind of wonder what Jesse is up to now. I like to think that that fantasy of him doing woodworking wasn't just a fantasy and that it was an actual flash forward and now Jesse is sober and away from that life and maybe he even has a wife and son and he maybe built the sons nursery himself or something. This show is also amazing because from our first encounter with Walt and Jesse together, you kind of have to hate Jesse and feel bad for Walt. Jesse is this asshole who was failing Walt's Chemistry class, yet somehow has an amazing car with a vanity license plate and Walt has to wash it because he needs to work at a car wash just to earn a little extra money. And then at the end of the series, I hated Walt so very much and I just wanted Jesse to have the best life he possibly could. It's kind of amazing!

So that is it for my top 5 (or 6) Friday and yeah. More of these to come!

Byeeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
