Big Week for TV! Oscars, Parks and Rec Series Finale, How to Get Away With Murder Season Finale... plus a lot of other good shows. Its one of Jon Stewarts last shows! Lol. Every week now until he leaves is I guess... but yeah. Lol.
I watched The Oscars. I don't usually watch the full thing, but I did this year because... we had leftover appetizers from the superbowl, so I invited my friend over lol.
Now I'm watching Jimmy Kimmel. I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel often because when Nia Vardalos was on promoting Connie and Carla, I thought he was a little disrespectful for her because he would only mention meeting Quentin Tarantino when she was on... and idk. I think I may have misjudged him a little bit, because I've seen some of his other shows and he is really quite funny and seems pretty normal and he's friends with a lot of other celebrities. His shows always do really fun bits, the episode Matt Damon hosted was really funny. And his monologue was really good for joking about a bunch of stuff that already happened. I was probably a little quick to judge him back then and I also think he's grown up a lot as a host too. That was probably in one of his earlier seasons and I can totally understand him being starstruck by meeting an idol. So yeah. I thought overall his after Oscar wrap up was good. Still don't like him as much as Fallon or Seth Meyers. But still.
Watched some more Seth Meyers. I'm starting to really like this guy. I usually opt for The Daily Show, The Nightly Show and @ Midnight, which I still like and will still watch... but I wanted to get watching some of the network talk shows because I may want to work at one of those. Idk, I like getting a different feel for all the late night hosts. Everyone is a little different and everyone has different bits. I think my all time favorite bits are still Colberts Tip of the Hat, Wave of the Finger and The Word... but I also like Seth Meyer's Venn Diagrams and Fallon's Thank You notes. Its all good.
I watched the Parks and Rec finale of corse. My review of that is right here
I also watched ABC's wednesday shows. The Middle was alright. The Goldbergs was really funny, it was a "Ferris Bueller" themed episode and they do so many good eps like that. Modern Family was shot entirely on devices like computers, iphones, ipads and things like that... and I think they did a good job of that. Its creative and it is "Modern" family, so that is very relevant. I didn't love the way it ended... I wished that Hailey was really married and pregnant, but yeah. That wasn't bad at all. And I didn't love this weeks Blackish. Love the show, this weeks episode had a weird message though. I don't know, it just wasn't my favorite. Rainbow and the little girl were super funny... but I felt the rest of the show was just weird. Lol. Not bad at all, it was still well written and funny... just not my cup of tea.
I watched How To Get Away With Murder... I'm still in shock. I thought it was Bonnie that killed Lila and that it would be boring if it was Sam... and it was Sam but it was Frank so it wasn't that boring... And who cares about that, who the hell killed Rebecca? Wes would be too obvious right? But I don't think it was anyone else. Maybe it was Laurel... idk. Lol. Ohhh gosh this show is so good! Go watch the first season right now!
I also watched Grey's Anatomy but it was a little boring this week. Idk it was too much medical stuff that sounded inaccurate. If I wanted to be a doctor, I would have tried to be a doctor, not watch Grey's anatomy for medical information. Unless its something like the woman that can't stop having orgasms or the penis fish thing... I don't care that much. Lol.
I'm pretty harsh this week I guess, but thats because Parks and Rec and How To Get Away With Murder were so good.
I watched New Girl. I would have watched it when it was on, but I didn't really want to watch anything after seeing Parks and Rec... that is sort of why I didn't watch much this week until after it aired. I may or may not watch all the shows this week... so if I don't see a whole lot, that is why.
I also watched The Mindy Project, Kroll Show and Workaholics. All good this week... but nothing competes with Parks and Rec or HTGAWM.
That is everything I suppose. Hope you guys found this useful even though I sort of didn't talk about many shows... I like posting these and watching TV and movies and letting you know what I think about them.
Next week there are some new shows on... so I will probably watch and review those separately from everything else too! So cool!
