Journaling: The Best Thing Ever? Creativity, Writing Stuff!

So this is something I kind of love doing and I never really realized how much I really love just writing something down every day… whether it’s what happened to me during the day, my thoughts and feelings, how I felt during the day… what I’m going to do tomorrow… just little things like that.

Lately I haven’t really been writing a personal journal for myself. I keep a mood log in my bullet journal and I write what I’ve been doing my weekly wrap up on this blog… which I think of as kind of a journal formatted for the public… it’s nice… but I can’t really tell any personal stories when I do that and I like being a little bit more personal… so I think I’m going to make time for myself to just unwind and write a little bit about my day.

I had a loss in my family recently… which is very sad… but I was able to write down some memories and something that had a lot of meaning to me that is kind of hard to tell people  and it just feels really nice that I have that written down and I’ll have it forever. It’s just nice to have a memory for me. And I’ll probably do that again today because there’s another thing I wanted to add that I didn’t… so that’s something I’ll do.

I also love my Bullet Journal… this helps me stay organized and keep track of the things I’m doing. I like knowing what I did that day and what I have to do… I feel more accomplished. Plus I like having a habit tracker, a mood log and just little things where I can write things down.

I kind of want to even start another bullet journal maybe or just a journal dedicated to writing. Idk I kind of want to do some sort of journal thing where I just write a 5-minute story every day… that’d be a lot of fun… I think I’m going to try that tonight too… I realize this is a lot of time dedicated to writing already… and I already write 2 blogs daily and I’d like to work on other projects… but I think just investing a little bit more time into writing not on those projects will help me kind of re-evaluate things to do with that… if that makes sense.

I also think I want to read more often and maybe watch more movies because from watching more Beauty Videos, I’ve gotten a lot of ideas for blogs and blog series for my beauty blog… and I’ve just been WAYYY more creative. I’m not even taking other ideas… but a lot of my more creative blog posts are ideas I got while watching another youtuber… so I feel like reading more and watching more movies will give me more creative ideas for other creative writing projects… if that makes any sense.

So… yeah. I just thought I’d mention that… I’m really loving all the blog ideas I have going and I’m kind of excited with what’s coming to my blogs soon… and I feel like Journaling might be my favorite thing ever now… lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
