Chart Chat 7.17.17

Alrighty... let's check out these charts!

10) The House- Probably the last week on the charts for this movie... it looks really funny... but as I've mentioned... it looks like it's been done before. It is Will Ferrel's birthday though... so congrats to him for having a top 10 movie out for the 3rd week in a row on his birthday! Not his biggest accomplishment... but something to be proud of.

9) Transformers: The Last Knight- thank goodness this is ending it's run on the charts! I'm getting impatient with this one. Lol.

8) Cars 3- This looks cute! I've been liking Cars a little bit more too... I'm excited that Pixar announced a new Original movie coming soon because I'm always going to be more excited for new Pixar movies compared to their sequels.

7) Wish Upon- I don't think this looks good... it's kind of been done already... it's a lot like the psychological thriller The Box starring Cameron Diaz... only a horror movie version and to me it doesn't look that scary. Not my thing. And I don't think it'll be on the charts long. If it was around in January or some slow week this might be higher... but I don't even think it would then. Split was quite high on the charts for several weeks even when other movies were coming out... not too many new movies are out and this is low on the charts... so I'm guessing people thought the same thing as I did. Weirdly... a song called "my wish" came on when I was typing my next thing... so that's super weird.

6) Wonder Woman- This is still doing so well... and most people have already seen it. I have not yet... but this is one of the biggest movies of 2017... I think this is what people will remember of 2017. So that's cool.

5) The Big Sick- I predicted this would climb up the charts quickly because who doesn't want to see this movie? It's a true story... I'm a fan of the comedian... Ray Romano is in it... and he's great... and it's directed by Michael Showalter who I love.

4) Baby Driver- Another very buzzed about movie... this summer has more surprise hits than I thought it would... Ansel Elgort is cute and he's going places... so yeah!

3) Despicable Me 3- Loved this movie! Possibly the best Despicable Me yet... I really recommend this. So funny and fun.

2) Spider Man: Homecoming- I've watched The Amazing Spider Man the last couple weekends... and I'm still upset that they never finished that series before starting this new one... but this new one still looks great. I think I'm just a fan of Spider Man... he might be one of my favorite superheroes right now... Batman is my real favorite... but I'm not a big fan of the current batman movies.. and I've loved all of the Spider Man movies... even the bad one... so this one still excited me.

I do kind of wish it was Donald Glover though. Maybe he'll be the next lol. He is in the new Spider man movie... I think it's supposed to be a surprise cameo... but I'm pretty sure it was announced somewhere.

1) War of the Planet of The Apes- Now suddenly I feel myself missing Transformers... I'm not into Planet of the Apes... any of the originals or reboots. This trilogy looked like it was a perfect trilogy if you're into it... I think I could watch the first Planet of the Apes movie in this series... I don't think I'd like the second... I'd give this one a chance... but there is no James Franco. I think John Lithgow was in the original either... so if there's no Franco or Lithgow... what's the point.

That is it! Hope you guys like this chart chat! let me know if you saw any of these movies. Should I give Planet of the Apes a chance? Is John Lithgow really in it, or did I make that up... because i probably would watch just about anything with John Lithgow in it.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
