Shannon's Scribbles 5.13.17

Monday 5.8.17

So on these Scribbles I kind of wanted to talk about Saturday and Sunday too… but I’m not this week… I might do that eventually but… not this week. I just decided to start on Monday because that’s how I timed it…

And I wanted to talk about timing today anyway because that was sort of the theme for the day… if you just do one thing that’s a little bit not on time… everything can be ruined and people can be really unhappy… or if you get everything just right- everything will be perfect and everyone will be very happy. I had one of those days for the day… not  absolutely amazing or life changing…not terrible or life changing that way either… just sort of… timing made or broke this day… don’t really want to say which because I want to be mysterious… but yeah. That’s how Monday happened!

 Tuesday 5.9.17

Now… I want to shift into internet stalking… but I don’t want to seem like a creep… lol. I feel like I’ve been on both sides this week… not really… but there’s facebook stories now and it’s just sort of like “Okay… why is this random guy from high school watching my facebook story? What’s up with that!” I mean it’s there… and no one really knows what facebook story is right now… and it’s kind of not the best thing in the world right now… you can only view it in the Messenger App as far as I can tell… which I just downloaded this week.

And I don’t really feel bad about looking at people online… because everyone does it! There were some funny things that have happened to some friends of friends… so I looked at their instagrams just to see… and then that was that… it just kind of gives you something to do… as long as it isn’t making you sad and you aren’t doing anything illegal and only looking at information that is public… it isn’t really creepy and I don’t really mind so no one else should either. It’s not like being watched… it’s like someone sees something that you posted… how is that creepy? Lol.

Spamming with likes… that’s a bit different… but it’s all good! As long as it’s legal… it’s not creepy… so if I know you and I don’t talk to you and you’re reading this… Hi! Good to see you! Keep up with it! Feel free to talk or not talk to me!

Wednesday 5.10.17
Hump Dayyyyy!!!! Not much else happened today… I think maybe I cleaned my room or something… I don’t really have any big insights into the day. I did start to take pride in my instagram today. I feel like my pictures look better… I started doing OOTD posts and I’ve just been feeling a little more confident lately… a little bit nicer… so yeah. I just kind of started going for it. Lol.

Thursday 5.11.17
Kind of a long day… got my frappuccino later at night because my mom was starting to like later Starbucks now because she’ll get stuff done when she’s more awake at night… so she was happy with that. I was happy because we went to Harmon… and it’s just a drugstore… but its the best drugstore and I just love looking for makeup and things there… It was exciting.

Friday 5.12.17
I ate greek food and went to Bath and Body Works… the end! Lol.

Sorry… some days I’ll try to have a theme and some insight… some days I’ll just say what happened and why it happened… this is kind of a weird blog to do.
And I’m writing it on Saturday Night right before I’ll be posting this… which wasn’t really the plan for weekend blogs… but that’s what’s happening now… so yeah!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
