Top 10 of the week! We've got a lot of new movies and an alien movie beat out another alien movie! Let's get right into it.
10) How To Be a Latin Lover- This movie made 29.5 million dollars in the 4 weeks it's been on the charts... including one week when I believe it was the #1 or #2 movie in the country. Not too bad... but the number 1 and number 2 movie this week both grossed over 30million this week alone... so that's something. Right? I was going to say "I guess people didn't want to be a latin lover that bad" but... it did make a lot of money anyway... so that's a thing. This is probably not going to be on the charts next week... so I just wanted to come up with something else interesting to say about it because the last four weeks I've been like "Yeah... Salma Hayak amiright?"
9) Beauty and The Beast- This movie has done pretty darn well! It is its 10th week on the charts and it has made in total 497.8 Million!!!! That's a lot of money! And I really loved this movie... a lot of people really loved this movie and it's one worth seeing in theaters... in 3d and in Imax if you can because I saw it in Imax 3d as well! It was really good... highly recommend!
8) The Boss Baby- This is probably on it's way off the charts... I thought this was a surprise hit... I think this type of movie would have annoyed my mom when I was a kid and it would annoy me if I were a mom I think... but other people like it and it made 166.2 Million in its 8 weeks on the charts... so expect Boss Baby 2... right?
7) The Fate of the Furious- This is the 6th week I've had to come up with something to say about this movie!!!! Hopefully it'll go away soon lol. Not my thing.
6) King Arthur: Legend of The Sword- I'm a little surprised this is so low on the charts this week even though it didn't do very well in it's opening week last week. Seems like it would be better... idk!
5) Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul- This movie upset me a little bit... well the trailer kind of did. Alicia Silverstone is the mom... and I guess she's supposed to be like an uncool mom and they're stuck on a road trip with her... but she turns on The Spice Girls and the kids think of that as "old people music."... no. The Spice Girls were a big thing when I was little and Alicia Silverstone is a lot older than me. She was Batgirl when I was listening to the Spice Girl... she's not old but she isn't my age... and Spice Girls Isn't old people music!!!! Just ugh. This is kind of annoying.
4) Snatched- I hope I get to see this movie while it's still out. It looks funny... it doesn't look great... but I love Amy Schumer and I like Goldie Hawn a lot too. Death Becomes Her is a movie I would love to re-make... so this looks like a good one and I want to see it.
3) Everything, Everything- This movie looked really good! It looks like a cute love story... along the lines of the movie Bubble Boy... but Bubble Boy was pretty much not well received whereas this movie actually looks cute and watchable. I would choose seeing this over King Arthur or Fate of the Furious.
2) Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2- Love Guardians... this looks like a really funny sequel. I haven't seen it yet, but I keep seeing the "I'm Mary Poppins" memes... it's so funny.
1) Alien: Covenant- Not a fan of the franchise... well okay I've never seen any of the movies... maybe I am a fan... doesn't sound like my thing though and I'm sure it'll be on the charts a lot more for me to have something to say about it.
So those are the charts! Hope you guys like it!
