Favorites

Girlboss- What a great show on Neflix right? It was just well done… well paced… sort of a show about nothing but the plot of it was also really good… I was kind of surprised… I didn’t love it at first but then I got really into it. It’s pretty good! I would recommend it!

Stop and Shop Guacamole- OMG! This Guacamole is awesome!!! It just tastes sooo sooo good! My mom tasted it in store and no one else was eating it… but she got it and thought it was delicious. It’s a little spicy but it just tastes really flavorful and good. Must have for any party this summer… except idk if my family likes Guac all that much.

Frappuccinos- Frappy Hour was this week… and I enjoyed every bit of it! Didn’t get to Starbucks in time every day it went on… but man! When I did it was amazing! The S’mores frap is my favorite and the Midnight Mint Mocha is my favorite after that I think. Great stuff!

Easy (netflix)- Kind of a weird hidden gem of Netflix. It’s a show mostly about sex and relationships. It was suggested to me after watching Girlboss and I was bored so I kind of watched it. It is an anthology series, so each episode follows a different story with a different couple… and a lot of them are kind of… not that relatable for me tbh… but a lot of the episodes were really good. The second episode is about a young lesbian couple that just gets together and the one girl is vegan and an activist and the other girl tries to get more into that stuff… but she just can’t… and in the end the activist girl accepts her and it’s really cute. Orlando Bloom was on an episode, Marc Maron was on an episode… there were a lot of people that you would recognize. I’ll probably do a review on this… it isn’t my favorite thing I’ve ever watched… but I did finish it and it is on Netflix and a lot of the episodes are worth watching.

It was also definitely made to promote Chicago tourism… because it just felt like a promo for Chicago… so keep that in mind. Lol.

News And World Events
American Idol is coming back to television… this time it’ll be on ABC and the host will still be what’s his name… Ryan Seacrest lol. And it looks like Katy Perry is in the talks to be a judge… I’m not a fan of reality shows… I am a fan of Katy Perry though… so that might be something I’ll watch.

Jim Parsons from the Big Bang Theory got married this weekend to Todd Spiewak… who looks a lot like Jim Parsons tbh… lol. Congrats to the two! Jim Parson’s has a maltese so he is clearly a genius in real life too and deserves all the happiness in the world!

Sean Spicer hid in the bushes... this is a legit thing that happened.

Noteworthy Snacks
Stop and Shop Guacamole… omg this is amazing!

The Cookie Straws with the S’mores fraps at starbucks… so good!

Music
A Million Reasons by Lady Gaga and the album Vices and Virtues by Panic at The Disco! Love the Lady Gaga song and I just listened to the Panic album before… and these are just great. Can’t pick one… so I’ll pick both! Lol.

Quotes
Last week I picked a quote from Up… this week I’m just going to show this picture from Up because I think it is one of the most beautiful moments in any animated movie ever

Thoughts
I posted my thoughts yesterday… but it’s always fun to watch something you never heard about on Netflix or listen to an old CD that you used to like!

Clickables
Brittani Louise Taylor's Latest Video - Idk... I've been watching her videos a lot lately... so I wanted to show some love!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
