The Best Episodes of Sesame Street

Okay... so you guys might know that I watch my niece a lot and she LOVES Sesame Street... and I had been watching her a little bit more this week in particular... and I thought I would talk about what I think the funniest episodes are if you're an adult that has control of the remote but no control of what's on the tv.

Anyway- there's one little girl Monster named Zoey. I know that she was a character when I was little... I don't know if she was an original character or not- but I think she might have been the first or one of the first girl characters... not sure if it was her or Rosita or if they were around the same time. I don't think Zoey is on the show as much anymore... but she is on occasionally and she's pretty funny. She has a pet rock named Rocco and she talks to Rocco like Rocco is a person.

So that's funny in general... but Elmo just does not understand Zoey's relationship with Rocco. And I can only describe it as his sassiness level is on par with Samuel L. Jackson. It's still an Elmo Samuel L. Jackson... but still it's pretty darn funny that Elmo just doesn't have the patience for Zoey and Rocco... and his response is just "Rocco is just a Rock!" To everything Zoey says about what Rocco wants and all of his very specific demands about things... it's just really funny.

So I'm going to sum this up with a little life lesson I guess. If you're kind of stuck doing something you don't love or watching something you don't love... make the most of it I guess. I don't dislike Sesame Street... but watching kids shows all day long is a little much... but this is pretty hilarious and it just makes me laugh... so I wasn't really intending on ending this with a life lesson... but I guess that's how you can create it.

So yeah... I love Sesame Street and these are currently my favorite episodes... never thought I'd be blogging about a Sesame Street Review... so yeah.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
