The Worst Episode of Friends

You guys know I love the show Friends. I've seen every episode multiple times- I watch it in syndication all the time... it's one of my absolute favorite things... and I've watched it forever pretty much.

The one episode that definitely stands out as the worst is The One With The Invitation. This is a flashback episode... I don't understand why they air flashback episodes in syndication. It's maybe a good thing to watch if someone is like "Ohh I've never seen Friends where do I start." But this one is just kind of cut together... badly.

It's all about Ross and Rachel's relationship... but I feel like the clips they use are too long and out of context... and there's not enough story in between for it to even feel like a regular episode of Friends. It's just not that good at all.

It also wouldn't be a great episode to show someone who hadn't watched Friends before because the clips don't have much context and they're confusing. I watched with my mom and grandmother who hadn't really seen Friends or they watched them a long time ago when they first aired... and they didn't really know what was going on. It explains that it took a while for Rachel to realize Ross liked her... but it doesn't really show why (Pablo) and it didn't really show... anything important like why Ross was angry at Rachel.

It's also just a lot to take in in 30 minutes... so it just doesn't really work that well... and of all the flashback episodes it's definitely the worst. So it's the worst of the worst and I just would recommend skipping this one.

Also the context of this episode because I forgot to mention that: Rachel gets an invitation for Emily and Ross's wedding. That's it... so yeah. That's it... nothing special.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
