Stuff I Ate: Nicholas Creamery Caliente Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae

Here we go! Another new favorite- especially for summer: Nicholas Creamery. This is probably the best Ice Cream store in NJ... and I loveeee it. My dad found out about this place because his favorite restaurant is Restaurant Nicholas... which is a great restaurant. If you go there for a date night- it's very fancy and impressive and delicious... anyway my dad gets emails and mail about this stuff and a few months ago we found out they were opening up an Ice Cream Shop and we couldn't wait to try it.

I've been there a few times now... and I could probably do more posts about this- but I want to talk about the only thing I've ordered twice on the menu- which is the Caliente Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae. This has their Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream and it's got Spicy Peanuts, Hot Fudge and brownies in it... ohh man does this have a lot of stuff I love in it!

Lately I've been loving Spicy Trail Mix and the best part of that is the spicy peanuts... which are amazing combined with Ice Cream... I never even thought of doing that... it makes it a little less spicy and more bearable... but also gives a really nice flavor to the ice cream. Plus I love a crunch... and I'm not always a fan of peanuts actually in the flavor itself- so I'm glad this is a topping instead of in the ice cream itself. It doesn't really get stale that way. It just tastes pretty amazing all in all.

And of corse the brownie chunks are delicious too... they also don't get soggy at all... they just lie in the ice cream absolutely perfectly.

And usually when I notice the Hot Fudge it's at the bottom of the cup... and I really love that because it's like "ohhh I'm almost done with my ice cream... but wait! I have hot fudge on the very bottom! This is amazing!" And it was really quite amazing!

And there's whipped cream... so that's awesome!

So I love this! I hope you guys like this review and if you want more of this... I would love to do more and more of these reviews because that means I keep needing to try more of this delicious menu! They have an out of this world cookies and cream milkshake also... and tons of amazing flavors and sundaes and shakes... so yeah. I'm trying more!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Throwback Thursday: Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 1

One of my favorite shows is the very underrated Crazy Ex Girlfriend... and when I say underrated I mean the ratings are bad... I'm pretty sure there is a lot of critical hype that is very real and worthy of that sort of hype... I honestly didn't watch it live at all this year until the finale... it was all in my DVR... I had lost a little bit of interest to be honest after the first episode... but I bingewatched it all in one day pretty much and it was great... but that's season 2... let's go back to Season 1. If you're only familiar with Season 2... Season 1 isn't quite as dark. It's definitely more silly than Season 2. It isn't like the darkness and the drama isn't there, it just isn't quite as dark. I have a feeling the show is getting progressively darker, and the Season 2 finale was definitely the darkest so far. The show is meant to be a different spin on a Rom-Com. The girl moves across the country for a guy that has a girlfriend alrea...
