Blogmas Day 9: Scribbles About Food- Starbucks Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate Review

So I saw that Starbucks now has their hot chocolates advertised... and they have the regular Chocolate Hot Chocolate, the White Hot Chocolate and the Salted Caramel available... and now they have added a Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate! And I was excited to try it!

I was kind of just expecting it to be a white hot chocolate... which is why I was surprised that when I drank it... it tasted just like a cookie fresh out of the oven! It was really really good!

It smells really good too! Before I even took a sip I could smell it and it smelled just like a snicker doodle cookie. And then when I started drinking it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet or sugary, it was just the same amount of sweetness as a regular Snickerdoodle cookie and it was just warm and delicious. They got the flavor down so well, its amazing!

When I got to the end... it wasn't quite as delicious as the first few sips. It wasn't bad... but it did sort of lose a little bit of flavor and just tasted more like a white hot chocolate... which isn't a bad thing. It wasn't bad but the first few sips are like "Wow this is amazing." And then a few sips were like "alright.. .this is okay." Maybe I wasn't getting the flavor with the way I was drinking it or something like that because I could taste it a little bit more flavorful bits after the not so great part... but all in all it was really delicious and something I would definitely order again.

So do I like this better than any of the other holiday drinks... hmmm hard to say. Most of the time I feel like I need a Venti Coffee... but today I just wanted a grande and this was a really good grande drink. I think it wouldn't work well in a venti... but for a grande it was just right! So if you aren't too hungry and just want a little something, this hot chocolate is amazing.

Byeee! Let me know what you think!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
