Blogmas Day 22: Scribbles About Life: Decorating The Christmas Tree

For some reason... I always really liked decorating the tree... and I'm kind of particular about how I decorate my tree... so yeah.

There's sort of a theme. Angels and fairies go on top of the tree. I have a side of the tree with mostly disney and Frosty Friends ornaments, my sister has a tree with Disney and Frosty friends ornaments... we also have Frosty Friends in the middle and some "Daughter" and "Sister" ornaments... and in the middle of the tree are Santa ornaments, towards the bottom we have more of the mice ornaments... my dad has some sports ornaments that I put on our tiny window tree upstairs... And that's kind of it.

We're all a little particular about where the ornaments go on the tree... so it kinda looks the same every year... with maybe some minor differences... but not really. Lol. It's my tree and I like it fully decorated and pretty. Lol.

So yeah, I've pretty much taken over decorating the tree for my mom. My dad puts on the lights... we don't have tinsel anymore because we have a dog and that can be dangerous for dogs... and then I hook the ornaments and put them up.

Mostly they're from Hallmark...some are homemade from when we were little or homemade from someone else in the family. There are a lot of good memories in the ornaments and it's just fun to look at!

Disney Store Closing Haul

So if you read my post from yesterday- you know that I love The Disney Store, but it is unfortunately closing. I did pick up some things from the store that I thought I'd share with you guys! I did get a couple of t shirts. One is a Star Wars shirt, which is technically a men's shirt but I thought it looked really cool and I don't like that Disney doesn't carry the same things for men and for women. For the most part they look unisex to me and a lot of their men's stuff has characters I like better. Like the star wars shirt for women was grey with pink lettering and had no pictures, but the mens shirt had a really cool metallic silver logo on black clothing with pictures of all the new characters and Luke inside of the letters... much cooler! So I got that! The other shirt I got is really funny and it has Sleeping Beauty on it and it says "I Woke Up Like This." Which I really liked! Super cute and funny and my niece likes it when I wear shirts with c...

Scribbles About Life: 3.10.16

Soooo... I don't really want to post about my day... but I don't really want to post anything else either. I started writing something about female characters in movies and TV... but I just didn't like what I was writing and... idk... I was a blog writing machine this week and now I feel defeated. I wrote a ton on Monday and Tuesday and now I just don't feel like doing a post today... but I want to write still... So I'll talk about things that I guess are on my mind lately... Idk. So I got this Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor... and for some reason... I'm addicted to the way that it smells. Idk why, it smells like cherry medicine... but I also sort of like it. Its more cherry than medicine... and I can't smell it on my lips... but Idk. I keep smelling it in the tube. I got some cute stuff from American Eagle yesterday too! I got a dress and a romper... I do not own any Rompers... except this one... but it looked good on me and it didn't make me look f...

Throwback Thursday: 13 Going On 30

So I watched this on VH1 around Christmas Time because it was on... they really need to bring this movie to Netflix because it's pretty fantastic and VH1 doesn't get the whole thing. I didn't catch the very beginning... but I did watch most of it from around the time when Matty gives her the Dream House... so sweet. It was a little weird to watch this movie because when it came out, I was 13 or almost 13... and now I'm closer to being 30... but I still felt more connected to the 13 year old Jenna instead of the adults in the movie. Like I'm not totally sure when I turned almost 30... but I don't like it. I'm still 13 year old Jenna who likes the same music as when I was 13 and has kind of the same style as I did then... I don't know... its just kind of a weird thing and I was freaking out a little bit from it. This is also the movie that introduced me to one of my favorite actresses, Judy Greer! I love Judy Greer, she's so funny and great and s...
