Blogmas Day 18: Stocking Stuffer Sunday- Random Fun Stuff

So since I already mentioned movies and candy... here are some fun toys and other things!

First thing I want to mention is the Elf popper, they have penguin ones too... its basically a Nerf Gun that looks like an Elf or Penguin or something spitting out balls. It's a lot of fun. My mom got them a few years ago for my sister and brother in law and I... and it was fun. Yes... we're all grown ups... but it was fun! We got this at Hallmark!

Books are always fun! A lot of times if you go to Barnes and Noble... or even Hallmark maybe, they have tiny books that you can get as gifts. The LOLDogs and LOLCats used to be really big. I like the "I Can Has Cheeseburger" one... but there are a bunch. They might have some christmas ones or religious ones, if you wanted to give something like that. They have things like 642 little things to draw or write about... which is always a fun gift. Wreck This Journal would probably be a lot of fun too and that would fit in a stocking. All good stuff.

Gift cards are always good. Somewhere like Target or Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts are good. In New Jersey it was actually made illegal to have expiration dates on gift cards... but Target is one that never expires anywhere... so that is especially good. Gift cards to favorite restaurants or anything would be good too. Or Amazon or something is good.

Ornaments are always good. My favorites are the Frosty Friends ornaments from Hallmark... but Disney Store also has a lot of cute ones that I think are on sale right now. Dollar Tree even had some cute ones and decorations. Target has a lot too... Targets are a little odd. I mentioned a cute set in my 12 days of Christmas Gift Guide. Ohhh and 5 Below had really cute ornaments.

Headphones are always useful. A few years ago my parents found a really cute winter-y pair. I like that a lot! I used headphones all the time then... so that was really good.

Phone cases too. I got the one I have now from Target's Dollar Spot and I'm super happy with it. I'm not one for having a million cutesy cases... but I like this one.

And portable phone chargers... always handy!

I think that is everything! Can't believe this is the last Stocking Stuffer Sunday and it'll be Christmas in just a week!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
