Chart Chat: 12.26.16

10) Nocturnal Animals- This movie looks interesting to me because it is directed by Tom Ford, who is a famous fashion designer and has a line of very luxurious makeup. Plus I like Thrillers a lot and this is a thriller. So I'm happy this is doing so well!

9) Doctor Strange- Again... haven't seen this at all yet. There is some controversy over the casting of Tilda Swinton... google that to see how you feel... I'm not opposed to the director having a different vision of the character... but I also don't like how he defended his choice and it is a big problem. I'm interested in the character Doctor Strange, so I think I will try to watch this one when it is available to watch. I've heard its visually stunning... and I love me some Cumberbatch. So the more I've been like "nah I'm not interested" the more I'm like "you know what... I gotta see this one!"

8) Arrival- This also sounds like a very interesting movie. I would probably watch this when its out too... but its one you need to pay attention too and I'm bad at doing that at home... and I don't know anyone that likes sci fi enough to do it not at home... so yeah.

7) La La Land- I really want to see this one! I feel like 2016 is the year of the Musical... and it isn't going anywhere! Musicals are probably bigger now than they have been in a very long time... and for this to be an original hollywood musical... I'm excited.

6) Manchester By The Sea-This looks good too. Michelle Williams may be one of my favorite actresses. I haven't seen her in much... but she is really fantastic in everything and I want her to win an Oscar. She's fantastic!

5) Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them I loved this movie! It was really really good.I'm excited for the next 4 movies... OMG! Such a good one!

4) Collateral Beauty This looked weird... I heard it was bad... I think if Keanu Reeves were in this everyone would be like "Okay... this makes sense as a bad movie!"

3) Office Christmas Party Looks so funny! Heard its good!

2) Moana Loved this one! Surprised it is still sooo close to number 1! But of corse the next few weeks are going to be...

1) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - I really want to see this one! It sounds really good... I've heard it's the perfect Star Wars movie... I'm excited for this!

P.S- this is from December 16-18th... I don't think this is the chart I wanted to report on... lol. I was looking for this weekends top 10 which I thought was up by now... but it isn't I guess as of 9:26 on Christmas night... I already wrote this though... so it is staying. I was surprised Sing wasn't on the list... but yeah that's because it was only counted from the 18th. Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
