Blogmas Day 16:Christmas 2016 It List!!!!

Here are my favorite Chrismasy things of the year... so far!

1) Simply Christmas by Leslie Odom Jr- I reviewed this cd right here and I thought it was just really a great cd. The songs were all nice and I'm a fan of Leslie Odom, Jr.'s voice! I really like it and its been one of my favorites this year!

2) Vlogmas- I watch a lot of daily vloggers regularly. Like The Tim Tracker and The Jones Family Travels and people that are around theme parks... but I've been especially liking them during the holiday season because I love seeing different places around the holidays. It's just interesting to me and I like the addition of several other youtubers doing Vlogmas as well! It's just been fun to see what everyone is up to and how everyone is celebrating. There are lots of extra videos to watch and its fun!

3) Sugar Cookie Egg Nog- This has been my favorite thing for years... but I didn't find it the last couple of years... but this year its back and its so sooo yummy! I love it, my dog begs and begs me for it too. It's hard to find... mostly because we bought them all... but it is amazingly delicious!

4) Chestnut Praline Latte- Sort of an accidental favorite... but a favorite nonetheless. I usually order this around Thanksgiving time and I kind of stop for Christmas... but now I'm not getting my own Starbucks and the people at Starbucks know me really well... so either they think they know my order and its always Chestnut Praline or my mom gets it for me... its still good nonetheless and I currently like it over the Gingerbread Latte. I had a Gingerbread Latte that tasted like flowers... I feel like the syrup is a little different this year... idk... maybe it just got mixed up with the Berry Hibiscus... but I've been more interested in the other flavors... so yeah. Chestnut Praline is super good!

5) The Great American Bake Off- Unmentioned in my "Getting in the Christmas Spirit" blog post... baking shows also really help me get in the holiday spirit. I love this one particularly because it is hosted by Nia Vardalos and her husband Ian Gomez, but I really do like the challenges and seeing all the ideas people come up with. These people are amateur bakers and they pick apart everything about their cookies... that's gotta be rough! But its still fun to watch... which sounds terrible. Lol.

6) Tangled- Not a Christmas movie... yet somehow I've seen it like 3 times this season and now I think it's going to be a Christmas movie for me... But I'm probably still going to just watch it whenever because it is one of my favorite Disney Movies. I like it a lot! It's good.

7) Chocolate Covered Ritz Crackers- I like these a lot! Its just nice chocolate and its good! I love it! I finished a box already... and I kind of want more... I know I'm bad but I don't care. It's yummy.

8) Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate- Super Yummy from Starbucks. I actually just did a review on this right here and it tastes like a nice, warm cookie from the oven. I just had one... so yummy. I love it and will be looking forward to getting it some more!

9) She and Him Christmas Cds- I'm going to have a post about this in a few days I think... but they have a new cd out and I really like it! They have an older CD too, and I've been listening to that... I forgot all about this the last few years, but now I've remembered to listen to it... and I really like both cds. Christmas Party is the new one. A She& Him Christmas is the original... I think I like Christmas Party a little bit better. Idk It's just She & Him Christmas has The Christmas Waltz, which I think is the name of the Frosted Windowpanes song... and I just don't like that song no matter who sings it.

10) The Middle- Since Thanksgiving it has been kind of a better show than usual... You can tell that everything has been leading up to something bigger... and this Christmas Episode is sort of the big thing. It's on right now... and I dig it. It's good!

So that is pretty much everything Christmasy that I've been loving lately!

Byeee!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
