Here are my non-christmas favorites for December
1) The Hamilton Mixtape- Everyone knows Hamilton is my #1 Favorite for the year of 2016... but the Hamilton Mixtape is something so different and so good that I love it just as much and will probably end up listening to it as often as I listen to the Hamilton Soundtrack. It's a different take on the play... a lot of 2016 connections to hamilton, celebrity versions of the songs... even a few different takes on what happened during the play like "Say Yes To This" and "An Open Letter to John Adams." We even get some original versions of the songs that were on the mixtape before Lin realized he had a musical! It's such a good cd. If you aren't super into Hamilton, but you like Rap and pop... I would recommend listening to this. It's so good! I didn't even think I'd like it that much because I wasn't really in love with the Kelly Clarkson song on the pre-order... but I love it. It's definitely a favorite CD of mine.
2) Frozen- I've started liking Frozen a lot! I don't know why... I just really like it! I watched it in October with my friend for a second time... and I liked it then... and now I'm really into it! Good movie, especially in the Winter... Idk if I could watch it INNNNN SUMMMERRR!

3) Betsey Johnson- This will probably be in my yearly favorites as well. I got a few Betsey Johnson bags and jewelry for Christmas... It just makes me happy to look at. She has really cute style, she's quirky and her stuff just makes me happy. I got a Betsey Johnson Trolls bag... for myself for christmas and it's really tiny and I think it was meant for children... but its also super cute. I love it, it was on a good sale, so I'm just having fun with it... and yeah. Her bags go on sale a lot... so just keep a lookout for them!
4) Scheduling/notebooking- So I got a little planner thing from Target recently. You can get planner paper and a binder to put it all in... I'm trying to get more organized in the New Year... that is usually my resolution... but it's something that I think will make me a happier and better person in 2017... so I'm really really going to try to stick with it... we'll see what happens. Lol. I think I'm going to hold you guys accountable for this because I do legitimately think it will make me a better person.
5) Life in Pieces- This has been one of my favorite shows lately. I didn't like it at all when it first came out... I gave it a really bad review after watching the pilot... but now... I like it a lot! I think its gotten so much funnier... it's so silly. I don't even know who my favorite character is because they're all just sooo funny. Modern Family has gotten a lot better lately too... but this show is wayyy better than Modern Family... I love them both bit this is a little more relatable to me. Not sure why... its a really funny show though. I've been loving it... I could bingewatch this show all day. It's great!
6) Starbucks Caramel Apple Cinnamon Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers- This is sort of a Christmas favorite... but also not really. I think its a Christmas special... but I ate it for the first time Christmas Night... and it is damn delicious. I've been eating 1 a night and its just a good little nighttime treat. It tastes so good... I just really love it! It's so good.
7) A blank poster board- Ok Shan... you've lost your damn mind... lol. Not really... this has been making my Instagram life way easier. It makes a much prettier picture and it's just a nice way to kind of up your instagram game. I got mine from Dollar tree... you can get it wherever... but why not get it from Dollar Tree?
8) Moana- I really liked this movie a lot! It was cute! I just thought it was fun. I think I saw this at the beginning of the month. I love the soundtrack too... Lin Manuel Miranda... it's just absolutely amazing!
9) Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them- I saw this at the end of November... but I thought I would include it anyway because it's just a really good movie. I think it's because JK Rowling actually wrote it that it was just amazing. I went in with low expectations and I ended up thinking it was absolutely fantastic! Hahaha get it! I would like the book of it too... maybe I'll get that!
