Blogmas Day 25: Christmas Weekly Wrap Up

So this isn't a real weekly wrap up... I'm just going to talk about everything I did from 22nd to now... in a quick and entertaining way.

22nd
I did some last minute-y Christmas type things. I went shopping with my mom for some things she needed and some candy and snacks and stuff. And I went to my friend's Ugly Sweater Party! Which was a lot of fun.I wore my minion sweater and ended up winning a Christmas Coloring Book. And we ate a lot of food... and played Cards Against Humanity... which I'm pretty good at. It's a fun game!

23rd
I stayed at home all day... but I went out to eat dinner and it was really good. I didn't do too much. I cleaned the bathroom, which was good... but yeah. Mostly just ate food and got ready for Christmas Eve!

24th
Christmas Eve! We went over to my Nana's house for our Christmas Eve traditions with my cousins on my dad's side of the family. That was fun... we ate a lot again... and opened presents! Which was also fun! My cousins played a game where they put things to open their mouth in and they would have to say a phrase or a word or something and that was funny. I would have played, but I am getting over a sore throat and still have a pretty bad cough. So yeah. That was a lot of fun!

25th
Christmas Day- Just started... but my sister and her husband came over for breakfast and we had crumb buns from a bakery by them that are huge and amazing! Later we're having Turkey with my grandparents and I'm watching the Christmas Parade now and I'm about to play with my presents!

Byeee!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
