Blogmas Day 11: Stocking Stuffer Sunday- The Sweet Tooth!

So here are my favorite candies... these are mostly seasonal and just very giftable things. Some of them might not fit in stockings, but they might be a good host gift or a gift for a teacher or something along those lines... so yeah! Let's just get right to it!

First off... and probably my favorite is the Chocolate Cherry Kisses. These are so yummy! I love chocolate cherries and anything with a cherry flavoring. These are my absolute favorite. I love the chocolate that is in kisses also and its just such a yummy yummy candy. I love them!

Speaking of kisses, the new Kisses Deluxe are really nice too. You can usually get them in a box or in little packs of 3... they aren't the cheapest... but they are a more affordable gift if you're looking for one!

Also if you're looking for a host or hostess gift... if you have a local candy store that you like, I would get something from there. There are sooo many good ones in New Jersey. My personal favorite is Jean Louise in Spring Lake... but really you can't go wrong anywhere around here. These are more splurgy chocolates... but if you need something even for like your in laws or anything like that... that is a great gift.

Chocolate Turtles are always super yummy! Those are my go-tos from the grocery store... I just really like them.

Ferro Rocher's. These are like the Deluxe Kisses, but they are a little different and still really yummy. These are just fancy though. So if you put Ferro Rocher's in a stocking you're like "Ohhh you fancy, huh?"

Lindor truffles and Ghiridelli chocolate speaking of fancy! I just listened to the Dis Unplugged Podcast and one of the hosts of that says that the extra gift for finding the pickle on the tree was a bag of Lindor Truffles and that is a really nice tradition of his that he still loves.

If you can find any Pre- Brexit Toblerones... lol. JK Toblerone's are still yummy even if they are really ripping you off now.

Chocolate Oranges or Raspberry's from Terry's/ Terrie's are always really really yummy.

And my mom got me one this year from Seattle's Chocolates. And it was a really good candy bar. It was Dark Chocolate Toffee... so yummy.

I could probably think of several more chocolates... but I'm going to move onto cookies. Lol.

Pepperidge Farms has some amazing cookies for Christmas. The Linzer cookies, snowball cookies. They have Gingerman, Sugar and Chessmen cookies all year long... but they are better at christmas. Milano cookies are always amazing! There is a lot to choose from and a lot of really good stuff. The gingerbread family cookies are really really good.

Ritz Crackers has Chocolate Covered crackers that are really yummy! I like them a lot. It sounds weird, but it is delicious.

Also Chocolate covered pretzels, White chocolate pretzels... Peppermint Bark pretzels... all amazing, especially around the holidays!

I hope this was helpful! I love all these candies and cookies.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
