The Great Comet of 1812- I was listening to this soundtrack this week... I'll probably end up doing a full review on it on This Blog... I have a feminist review up on my feminist blog... but I really liked it! I don't really want to listen to it again... I think I might end up seeing this on Broadway at some time... it's good. Its one that you can follow the plot from the soundtrack... the characters are all really good... and the music is good. It's like Modern Rock mixed with traditional Russian music... it's good! I would recommend listening to it!

Down To Dis-ness- This is a web series about disney history that Sarah Snitch on Youtube hosts... it tells a little bit of information about Disney (and Pixar) animated movies and how it was important to pop culture... for example new animation techniques and things like that... it was good, I bingewatched all the episodes on Monday.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend- I love this show... I'm rewatching it. It's been a favorite for a few weeks now. I've been listening to the music and watching the second season... I'm trying to watch the second season a little more slowly because I basically watched it all in one day... but it's good. It's a fun one to watch over and over and over again.

News and World Events

Bill Paxton died! This is sad to me, I watched Big Love over the summer, and I never finished the show but he was very good on it. He made a character that should be unlikable kind of lovable actually. I thought it was a good show and he did a great job on it.

On Tuesday a bull escaped a Slaughterhouse in NY and people chased him and shot him with tranquilizers... and they were able to catch him and they were transporting him to a vet I guess and getting him to a farm sanctuary... but by the time the people from the farm sanctuary he had died already.

Noteworthy Snacks

The Chobani Flips and the Fage Split cups are really good!

Music
The intro song of The Great Comet of 1812. I also started listening to the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack... pretty good!

Quotes

"I hate tests. It's a really lousy way to judge a person's ability!" - Bill Paxton.

Thoughts
Sometimes things surprise you... like the Chobani Flips. I didn't know I'd like them... but I liked them a lot!

Clickables
Bill Paxton Quotes - so I usually just google my quotes and find something relevant to the week that I like or that I agree with... I usually just find them on google... but this one I used a specific site.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
