Weekly Wrap Up 2.12.17

Favorites

Jane The Virgin- I started this week out with watching Crazy Ex Girlfriend again... but then with the twist on Jane The Virgin I decided to watch that again... I think I'm going to do Throwback Thursdays on both of them because there's stuff I noticed and basically... everything leads up to the twist that just happened. Same with Crazy Ex Girlfriend... which is next on my list... it's just a great show.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend- So I just caught up to what is probably the best episode of the series: "That Text Wasn't meant for Josh." Maybe I'll do a Top 5 favorite episodes of this too because this is just a great show. I'm so excited for next season... there was a lot in the first season that sort of hinted at Rebecca's past.

News and World Events

George Clooney and his wife Amal just announced that they are expecting Twins! They will join Beyonce's twins in being super awesome twins of famous people! Congratulations to them!

Betsey Devos tweeted that she did her job for a day and asked where the pencils are! People tweeted her back saying "We pay for pencils ourselves... get your own!" So... she was just kind of asking people to troll her.

Nordstrom and TJ Maxx both dropped the Ivonka Trump line from their stores. Trump's campaign manager gave an illegal-ish plug to the brand and was confronted about that because... it is illegal-ish. Just either way... I don't necessarily think "Ohhh we need to buy Ivonka Trump to show our support" or "Ohhh I need to buy from Nordstrom to show my support." Make much sense. Just buy whatever you want. If you had something that you wanted from Nordstrom or from Ivonka's brand... buy it? I don't exactly think Nordstrom or Ivonka is struggling... so just buy whatever the heck you want! I do like the insurgence of celebrity tweets about what they're buying at Nordstrom... mostly because I like to see what they're buying and it's adorable that Kristin Davis is buying shoes from the SJP line. Plus the Chelsea Handler picture with the Muslim Man and the Gay man in front of the white house with Nordstrom bags... I'm not really a fan of Chelsea Handler... but that's kind of cool to see.

Tv Highlights
Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend of corse.

How to Get Away With Murder is just a little too late for me to really pay attention too... ugh idk why my attention span is so short with TV now... but I can't pay attention to Superstore, Powerless, Life in Pieces and then How To Get Away With Murder... and maybe Scandal. I really like Scandal... but I prefer Life in Pieces. Idk lol.

The Goldbergs and the ABC shows were all new... I missed the Tuesday ones I think... but the rest were all good!

Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown was on and really cute and good. The newer one that they showed after the original cartoon was very badly animated though. Charlie just looked different and... it just wasn't very good.

Noteworthy Snacks
I ate a lot of leftover Chili from the Superbowl.

I also had Pizza rolls that were really good... Devil Dogs and things like that were all good this week. We found Oatmeal Cookies with Icing from a few months ago... it's just all good!

Music
I've been singing the Eliza songs from Hamilton all week! I wrote a blog about it... and I just like the songs. I sing along to them too and I just really like them. Burn was particularly powerful to watch performed live... it was just really good.

Quotes
"If somebody talks about you behind your back, just fart." something I saw on instagram.

Thoughts
Sometimes you need to re-watch tv shows to get all the little details... that probably isn't the best life advice ever... but that's what I've got!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
