Scribbles About TV! Tv Recap 2.12.17-2.16.17

Here's a little recap of all the shows I watched during the week that are still currently on TV.

Sunday
I don't really watch anything on Sunday's. I like Last Man On Earth and some other shows on Sunday I think... I just always forget to watch and I don't have Hulu anymore... and I don't think they're on Netflix or Amazon Prime... so there is just a lot that I miss... that I should watch and catch up on... but I don't.

Monday

I really liked Jane The Virgin... I was excited for this episode... and I thought they did a good job of it! I liked seeing the difference between Jane and Petra and how they've gotten closer through the years. I liked Zen Rafael after prison... and I'm still kind of Team Rafael... I wanted Jane to be with both of them to be honest... and I guess this is the only way she can be now lol. Not "lol" this is nothing to laugh at... but it was sweet seeing how they interacted and how Petra and her were close... and the finale was kind of a shocker still!

Tuesday

The Middle was pretty good. I think it was new... it seemed like it might have been a repeat. It was funny to see how the kids reacted and plotted against their parents and what they learned from them... and what they taught them. I liked it!

I wasn't paying too much attention to American Housewife... that's a funny show and I'm starting to like it a little bit better... but I think this wasn't the best episode. I was cleaning my room while it was on... but still it was just okay... a lot of the episodes are really funny... I thought this was okay.

Also This is Us... my favorite show! I really liked this episode a lot... idk! I feel like soon might be dealing with Jack's death... probably around the same time that William dies... everything about this episode was well done. Randall's meltdown... Kate telling off the guy at fat camp and getting to know Toby a little bit more... and she wasn't ready to talk about how her father died. And then there's the fight between Jack and Rebecca... it was just a good episode. A lot happened for all the characters and this is one of my favorite shows right now. I look forward to it every week.

Wednesday
I don't know that I watched all of The Goldbergs... but from what I saw it was good.

I fell asleep when Speechless was on... that's not my favorite show... but it is still funny. It was a cute episode though. I liked what I saw/ listened to.

Modern Family was pretty good this week! I don't remember much of what happened... it wasn't my favorite episode of the season... but it was good! I really like this season of Modern Family. It's been really really funny!

And Blackish was good this week too... a little sad because his friend died and he was trying to make up for it with his other friends... One of the sad things that happens when you get older. It was a good story.

Thursday

Superstore was pretty good. I may need to do a feminist review of it on my other blog... but pretty good! I wasn't paying close attention, but it had to do with telling women to "smile" and then calling her a bitch... It was a lot that women have to deal with that men don't necessarily... so yeah!

Then Powerless... this is probably my favorite episode yet... I don't remember what happened in the second episode... but in this episode they were trying to impress people from Atlantis, which is where Aquaman is from and they were trying to get them as a client... it was funny. They did a lot of funny jokes about this place and things people do in Atlantis... some jokes about Atlanta and Atlantis... and even a joke at Donald Glover and why he isn't Danny Pudi's sidekick, but Ron Funchs is... it was good.

Life in Pieces is another favorite of mine and this week was really good. I think they were supposed to have this on earlier because it was already mentioned that Matt and Colleen were going to elope... but this is  them deciding that they are going to elope... so that kind of lessened how much I liked the episode just because that didn't make much sense. But that story was fine and the rest of the episode was good too. I think they wanted to have it on after the grammy's because it is Grammy related... but I would have liked it better in order. I thought the Facebook story was the best. My parents don't know how to use Facebook and they would have done the same thing. It was funny.

How to Get Away With Murder was pretty good this week too... honestly after the first season I have little idea of what is going on and it's just too confusing and unbelievable now... but everyone is good on it and some episodes are really pretty good! This was a good one!

And that's it... nothing is on on Friday that I watch at least right now... but everything was good! Idk if I'll do these every week like I used to... but I'll try doing these every once and a while again!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
