Weekly Wrap Up 2/21/16

Favorites
Hamilton Soundtrack- I've got to mention this again cause I've been listening to it Non-Stop! Lol. After the Grammy's performance I just couldn't stop listening to it... and its amazing. Not tired of it. There are so many characters and so many songs that I always find a different character to like and sympathize with.

Deadpool- I saw this movie and reviewed it and I really liked it. I've gotta say Deadpool is one of my favorite fictional characters and I just really liked the movie. It was pretty cool.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made Palette- I didn't really want to include any beauty favorites here cause I do have a beauty blog... but this palette is just amazing. The quality and the colors are all so versatile. I didn't think I was going to use it much, so I just "shopped my stash" for it... but its amazing. I've created so many different looks with it and I just really really like it. It makes me feel nice.

Highlights
I saw Deadpool on Friday and went out with my friends. That was fun. Saturday I had to go with my mom to take my dog to the vet cause thats a two person job. He had something in his ear and it was getting infected... poor little guy. He's fine though, he's acting normal and himself and he should be fine by next week. And then my sister's dress fitting happened and then we went out to dinner... so yeah. That was the most stuff that happened.

TV Highlights
I missed a lot this week. I saw the Wednesday comedies on ABC and Grey's Anatomy... and some of scandal and I half paid attention to How To Get Away With Murder... but I missed most things. I missed X Files and OJ Simpson... so I need to catch up! I was so looking forward to the OJ show... and X Files is just good and it was the 2nd to last episode... but it was up against the Grammys... which had bad ratings... so I'm guessing people were tuning into The X Files Instead.

News
Tyra Banks shared her first photographs with baby York this week. The baby is just as beautiful as his momma and the photo is so stunning, I have to share it with you right here.

In sad News, Kesha was not able to be released from her contract even though she accused her producer of rape. I've seen things saying Chris Brown still has a thriving career when he's beaten women and Kesha is being silenced because of it. And it is really sad because I know this can't be the only case. I'm sure this is happening all over the world every day... and we need to change that.

Kanye West is apparently deeply in debt and some fans have raised gofundme's for him... actually made 4 Grand... so thats a thing. Also there is kind of a war going on between him and Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris... again... so yeah.

Foods Worth Mentioning
So I had a lot of foods that are worthy of note that I didn't necessarily want to include in my favorites... so I'm going to shout some things out.

I will have a full review of the Starbucks Butterscotch Latte tomorrow... but it tastes exactly like it sounds. Straight up Butterscotch Latte.

I had Reese's Pieces when I went to see Deadpool and those were amazing.

I also had really good chicken and shrimp in peanut sauce... it was so good. Its one of the best meals I've ordered in a long time... I loved it. Peanut Sauce is good... but yeah. This was just awesome.

I had really good Chicken Marsala from 2 different places this week... so that was amazing.

And my dad got chocolates from this place in the city called Leonodis I believe and they have belgium truffles... and they have some chocolate hazelnut and white chocolate hazelnut things that are all really good. I just like Chocolate and hazelnut. If its Hershey Kisses Deluxe or Ferroero Rochers... they're just always good. I like them a lot.

And I mentioned those Special K Cereals... but they are DELICIOUS! I love them .The Nourish Cereals... so good. I've really been liking the apple raspberry this week. I love the Coconut one but... something about the apple raspberry is yummy too.

World Events
Fashion week ended this week. Lady Gaga walked the runway for Marc Jacobs. It seemed like most of the runway shows had a lot of neutrals... which I do think will be in... but I think Neutrals with a pop of color or rainbow. I saw this Betsey Johnson bag that looked like the quilted Chanel bags but it had like a little bit of rainbow in it and I said "Yes. This is going to be trendy this season." I'm thinking Suicide Squad is going to sort of bring Harley Quinn type of style back in... and this seemed like a Harley Quinn bag a grown up could use.

The Grammy's were this week and those were fun to watch! I liked all the performances. I did a review... I think I mentioned this but the highlights were Hamilton, Gaga and Kenderick Lamar.

The Westminster Dog Show was this week too. I love dogs. I didn't watch this, but I love that they have new breeds and it seemed like an exciting show and I saw something that said "Everyone says they have the best dog and everyone is right." Or something like that. So true. All dogs are the best. My Spencer and my Lucky dogs the best!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
