Scribbles About Music: Nsync Its Gonna Be Me vs Fall Out Boy Irresistible

So this is cool. Fall Out Boy and Demi Lovato recently re-created the It's Gonna Be Me music video with their song Irresistible... so I thought it'd be fun to compare the two a little bit and just say what I like about both of them.

Nsync- Its Gonna Be Me
This is a fun video. Back in the 90s, boy band videos were always really really fun, but I think this one and the Backstreet Boys song Everybody were particularly memorable and fun. So this has a special place in my heart.

Also... I don't think I actually had any of the Nsync dolls. I feel like I wasn't a fan for a long time... but I was a pretty big fan and I still like their music a lot. Justin Timberlake is great. I think the rest shine brightest while in the boy band... but Timberlake was clearly outstanding even back then!

So basically the Nsync dolls are trapped in a Toy Store and they're trying to get the attention of a girl that is buying GI Joe toys... so they start dancing and get the help of some Barbie dolls to get her attention and eventually she buys the Nsync dolls and they turn into the members of the band... full sized at checkout. A little weird... but its a fun video.

Fall Out Boy- Irresistible
So I'm excited about watching this. When it came up some other Fall Out Boy videos came up too... they had fun ones too. The Dance Dance video... the one with the monkey... they just have some good ones. I'm excited that this seems as fun as those ones. And I haven't heard the song yet and Fall Out Boy is my favorite band... so its all really exciting.

And it was really funny. Demi Lovato is working at a factory thats making the toys and she's not that excited about the N'sync toys... but she loves the Fall Out Boy ones. And then Joey Fatone is the store manager and he's throwing the Fall Out Boy toys in the clearance bin and he loves the Joey Fatone doll. Its really funny.

Also I feel like Joey Fatone is the Ringo of Nsync... Ringo is my favorite Beatle and Joey is my favorite Nsync guy. I know I just said JT was the talented one... thats obvious. Joey is my favorite though because he was in My Big Fat Greek Wedding... so I'm really happy that he's in this video too!

And this song is possibly one of my favorites from them. It is amazing! Patricks voice sounds soo amazing andd its just absolutely so so good!

Also can we talk about how GORGEOUS Demi Lovato is in this video? She just looks so cool and just amazing! She is really beautiful and I feel like I was kind of taken aback by her beauty in this video... I have a similar hair length to her, so I kind of want to do something similar with my hair. She is amazing. Really talented and gorgeous girl. She keeps getting better and better too. There are some songs of hers that they used to play at the store I worked at and I was like "meh. I don't get it." But she keeps getting catchier and catchier and she's really quite talented. I'm happy she's collaborating with Fall Out Boy. I think she's been friends with the band for a while... I believe she dated Alex DeLeon from The Cab wayyy back when... but yeah. She's great and everyone was just really great.

So overall loveee the new song and video from them. Always excited for Fall Out Boy... but this is pretty great.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
