Top 5 Friday: The Monday Edition

Soooo I thought I would make things a little more personal on this blog and tell you guys the top 5 things that happened to me this week and just share my life with you guys.

5) I had Chipotle 2 days in a row- And I ordered the same thing too! I think the Chipotle I go to has new employees or something because they had been skimping a lot on the bowl the last few times I had gone before this week and now they're doing a good job. Both days I got heaping amounts of food. I think I found the best time to go too... but I don't really want to share it because I don't want it to get crowded around that time. Lol sorry, I'm going to be selfish about Chipotle. If you're smart, you'll figure it out. It's good!

4) I finished Orange is the New Black On Sunday- I wanted to make this a "Top 5 Friday" but because of a number of reasons this week... it was a big week. More than 5 things happened. Anyway among them was my obsession with Orange is The New Black. It was sooo soo good, I was pretty much eating or working or watching that all weekend. It was good. It was reaaaaaaallllll good. I am obsessed. I don't want to spoil anything here, I'll probably do a review tomorrow or something and that may include some spoilers... but I will avoid it on this post. I was surprised that a lot of characters I hated last year I don't even think are that bad anymore. There's a whole new form of evil in the prison and I will talk about that in the review. I think I liked Season 2 better than Season 1... but I don't know. It's not like either season wasn't good, but there was just something so amazing about season 2 that not a lot of other television seasons have been as good in general. I just loved it. I love it! Check it out if you haven't!

3) I caught a cold- Here's another reason why I didn't post much last week. I got sick! I was just sniffly and had a kind of sore throat, but now I'm feeling a bit better. Still kind of sniffly, but throats all better I'm feeling okay. It's been kind of convenient that I was sick and Orange is the New Black started at the same time... but also kind of bad. I was going to go to a friends house and binge watch it right away, but I didn't feel good so I stayed home and I fell asleep before it started. It's okay though, I'm good now.

2) I started working again officially- I mean this kind of happened already, but this week was like the first 'yes for sure you are on a scedule' type of work week for me. I really only worked Saturday because I didn't know whether I would be able to return so I just told my manager that if she needed me she could put me on schedule and I guess she did on Sat, so I worked Sat and Sunday and its been kind of nice. Kind of busy, but my job is okay. I just work at a store... it can be interesting at times. Lol.

1) I've had a sad stressful week- This was a weird top 5 Friday to start with, which is why it's on a Monday because I've been stressed and sad. It was a year on Wednesday that my dog Lucky had passed away and I found something out that probably isn't the worst, but I wasn't expecting it and it was just a bummer type of thing. I don't want to get in detail about it... but it was a thing. I want to try to blog more everyday this week, but I don't really know if that will happen. I don't really know anything that is going on in my life right now, so I need to focus on that more than this blog... but yeah, I'll try to blog.

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
